when I was working at the county shelter, a co-worker recommended North Central Animal Hospital to me. she takes all her pets there. I drive 30 minutes each way to use this facility because they have proven time and again I can trust my baby to them. never once have I felt, "rubbed the wrong way,". nor have I ever felt my girl wasn't receiving great care here. it's really a huge relief knowing I can trust the -entire- staff here. From phones and emails to reception, the techs, and the doctors.... These folks are golden.

Let me start by saying, finding an avian vet is difficult to begin with. But finding one in a serious emergency, in panic mode, is brutal. These ladies got me in same day (within 30 minutes of me calling), on a Saturday, and saved my conure. Even when I was not easy to deal with- (panicking, bitchy, freaking tf out). Don't listen to the other reviews (that's what originally caused me to freak out and have doubts while i was there), these ladies are all phenomenal. Glad to have found them in this emergency for future use (hopefully no more emergencies).

After calling about 15 vets in the area - no one would take my dog for an emergency (everyone kept sending me to Blue Pearl, which I get but I wanted to establish her somewhere and have been trying since I adopted her) as a new pet/client (I rescued my pup about 2 months ago) this place came to the rescue. I called and they originally told me a couple weeks out and when we explained our situation they got us in right away - literally right away. Reasonably priced, staff was great and explained everything and answered all my questions. They didn't keep her until I paid, they let us wait together while we figured things out and she had her tests done. Nice small grassy meeting area for the pups and techs. So happy we finally found our new vet Thank you for caring about my pet would no one else would, real animal lovers. She is healing now and we are grateful for all your help during this weird time.
