Dr. Mumtaz is an amazing doctor. I think some people are put off by her style or personality. But I think most of that has simply to do with her Pakistani culture and the fact that she is very much a no nonsense doctor, and wants to get right to resolving your problem. I sincerely appreciate her professionalism.
Dr. Mumtaz is without a doubt the best GI doctor I’ve met. Just for some further clarity I’m a nurse who has worked at a lot of hospitals here in Phoenix and I know a lot of GI doctors. She was able to get me in immediately after I called the office and was then able to get me scheduled for my procedure within 2 days of seeing her. She was able to quickly and accurately diagnose my condition when even my own hospital missed it. She has an incredibly strong commitment to her patients and will actively advocate for the highest possible care the patient needs. I am so incredibly thankful for her that words absolutely cannot do justice.
