Nature's Spa Acupuncture

“The best massage I have ever had (and I get them regularly). Josh was absolutely amazing and knew exactly what to do and where to focus on. I am currently in the middle of a big move and felt completely broken and stiff and booked a massage last minute and it was the smartest thing I’ve done all week. Josh was personable, friendly, great to talk to and worked on spots massage therapists haven’t even gone near in months (if not years) despite me asking or needing it (like focusing on my hip flexors).

Everyone who was there is friendly, professional, kind and I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a great spa experience in Tucson. Seriously, don’t sleep on this place or Josh- he was amazing and I wish I could fly him to Europe with me!“

“I went for physical therapy because of pain in my back, below the right shoulder blade and my lower back. Therapists Kisten and Marcos were so helpful! Their intuitive ability to zero in on the exact areas that needed help was spot on. They also did a great job of educating me on how to keep it from happening again. The techs were also very helpful and knowledgeable. The pleasant feeling tone in the office made it a very inviting and comfortable place to return to. I would use this facility again and recommend it to others.“

“The first time I saw Sayo, I was tense and a little nervous about the acupuncture process. I was also a little desperate to solve some long-standing issues that medication and my PCP weren't addressing. From the moment I walked into her office, I felt an immense calm. This was the first time a health care practitioner had truly attuned to me and my body. Sayo is kind and intelligent, and a great listener. She listens with her ears, mind, heart, and hands. She senses where the body is in pain, and helps you articulate your feelings-- so that you yourself are more aware of what's going on. And then, she treats you with that heightened awareness in the room. The last time I went, I felt during the peaceful resting process as if I were as a light as a feather. I'm a forty-year old working mom, and that sensation is not a part of my usual experience. Sayo also invites questions about acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, and follows up generously when she's able. She is a wonder-- I recommend her to anyone lucky enough to live in the vicinity.“

“At the end of July, I had a serious fall, and no matter what I tried, my back just wouldn’t heal. I was discouraged and in pain when I came to see Juan. From the very first treatment, I knew I was in the right hands. After only three sessions, not only is my back finally improving, but my whole perspective on acupuncture has changed.

I also suffer from peripheral neuropathy, and after just two treatments, I began to feel sensation in my feet again—something I honestly didn’t think was possible. To me, that feels like a true miracle. On top of that, Juan is now helping me manage my RA, and for the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful about my health.

And it’s not just the treatments. Sherry brings such warmth and light to the space—she’s a beautiful soul who makes you feel genuinely cared for the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is calm, comforting, and healing in itself.

I can’t wait for each appointment, because I leave feeling better in my body, my spirit, and my outlook on life!!“

When I came in with pneumonia, I received cupping and accupuncture , I felt heat in my lungs and suddenly could breathe more clearly. My migraines are greatly improved as well. I also did the healing hypnosis and it was an incredible experience. I highly recommend Lightworks for Accupuncture and Quantum Healing Hypnosis.“

“Steve is the best! I appreciate his view and understanding of the body plus his experience with acupuncture, IV Laser light therapy. If you have not been happy with your traditional medical treatments, I encourage you to at least consult with him. I have been going to him for several years based on a variety of issues and each time he has helped me and my family. IV Laser light therapy has helped my energy level and minimized my struggles with fibromyalgia. I am 72 and continue to hike long and difficult distances only because of my treatment. His support staff is also knowledgeable and welcoming and trained to assist with the Laser light treatment.“

“**UPDATE****************** I'd like to add that just after 3 treatments, I now have regular menstrual cycles! This may be TMI but it is literally the first time in 15 years that I have had 2 consecutive natural "normal" periods (I have had to take progesterone in the past to induce it). I hope this continues and I will have another one next month. I also have not had any migranes since seeing her. ************************ I've been searching for the right acupuncturist for me for several months. I went to multiple well-advertised places in the Tucson area and was never fully satisfied... However after going to Nobi one time, I decided that I will only go see her from now on. She is the one for me! What I've found with the other acupuncturists in Tucson is that their treatments are really westernized, simplified and super mild. They generally only use a 3-5 needles per session and only work on one side of the body. You basically just lay there for 40 minutes and then you go home. Growing up in Japan and living in Hawaii for most of my adult life, this was not what I was used to, and always left dissatisfied. However, not sure if it's because she is Japanese, but Nobi works on both the back and front of the body with A LOT of needles and finishes each side with a light shiatsu massage after removal of the needles. She inserts the needles to a point where you feel the "electric shock" as I like to call it, where it is slightly uncomfortable but then transitions you into a deep relaxing state once your body starts reacting to the needles. Here is basically why I like her best: - No weak sauce acupuncture. You feel it going in, and then you enter a deep relaxation state. - No beads! I was so shocked when I got beads instead of needles at another acupuncturist. You can buy beads online without a license. Again, many places around town are too westernized. Not Nobi! - like I said, she works on both the back and front. 20 minutes on the back, 20 minutes on the front. I love the short but good massage. - relaxed and improved pulse. I noticed an improvement in my pulse right after the treatment. I also caught myself snoring during both front and back sessions. I haven't achieved this level of relaxation anywhere else. - I grew up in Japan and her style was similar to what I am used to. She also has a huge collection of Chinese herbs. Don't have experience with that yet but its pretty hard core. She doesn't have all the herbal teas and friendly receptionists that other places have, but if you're looking for a more authentic acupuncture treatment I highly recommend coming here. If you're into the more westernized milder treatments then check out the other places.“

“So I took advantage of the Groupon deal and my spirit told me to give thanks for the healing so I got her some purple carnelian flowers just because I wanted to see someone smile. She was very attentive with the acupuncture, but I noticed that everyone around me she offered a blindfold and this was my first time going there so I didn’t know that I could have a blindfold while I’m staring at all of this artificial light so she said OK go to sleep. I couldn’t go to sleep because the artificial light was in my eyes and she explain to me with a review that she didn’t have enough blindfolds to go around for everyone and I inner stand that however, I am autistic and artificial light really messes with me. It hurts my eyes and I really couldn’t relax so I just close my eyes and focus on my breathing, but the light was still affecting me so next time I go, I will bring my own blindfold. I think you gratitude because she was very compassionate and kind to me.“

“I first came to ASAOM as a patient in the student clinic, and the treatment was incredible. I felt so much better afterwards that I knew I wanted to learn this medicine and help others in the same way. That’s what inspired me to enroll, and I’m so glad I chose ASAOM.

One of the best parts is that ASAOM is very affordable compared to many other acupuncture schools — but you don’t sacrifice anything in terms of quality. The education is excellent. The small class sizes meant I had amazing teachers who knew me personally and really cared about my success. The program gave me extensive hands-on experience and extra learning opportunities that went above and beyond.

Because of that, I was able to pass my board exams and become a licensed acupuncturist without the burden of unnecessary student debt. Looking back, I’m grateful every day that I chose a school that gave me both an incredible education and a financially smart path into this career. Now I’m licensed and excited about the opportunities ahead.“

Jenny is great. Our massage therapist, Elwen, is fantastic -- a kind, wonderful person indeed. His massage is confident, knowledgeable, and strong, yet gentle -- with work where needed. I felt relief in several pain spots as well as a longlasting euphoria. Give yourself and loved ones this experience of joy. THANK YOU.“
