“This was my 6th visit to Imperial Foot Spa, which is probably the strongest endorsement I can give. I figured it was time to write a review.

This time I booked a 1-hour Thai massage with John. Within the first few minutes I could tell I was working with someone who has been doing this for a long time. He wasn't just following a routine. He quickly found the areas where I was carrying tension and spent time addressing them instead of rushing through the session.

The bodywork was excellent. Strong when it needed to be, but always controlled and professional. I've had massages from licensed therapists before, and John's skill level felt right up there with them.

What really stood out were some of the stretching techniques. A few times I felt like he was folding me into a pretzel, but in the best possible way. They were stretches I'd never experienced before, and afterward my back, shoulders, and hips felt noticeably looser. I spend a lot of time sitting at a desk, and I walked out feeling more mobile than I had in weeks.

I'd also like to give a shoutout to Mary at the front desk. She's always friendly, welcoming, and does a great job matching customers with the right therapist. The business is clean, professionally run, and every visit has been a positive experience.

I've now been here six times and have never left disappointed. If you're looking for a real Thai massage, dealing with tight muscles, or just need to reset after a stressful week, I'd definitely recommend giving Imperial Foot Spa a try.

I’m originally from Thailand and regularly get a massage every 2-3 weeks (both when I was in Thailand and now in the US). I tried many massage places in Mesa, Tempe, and Chandler since I moved here, searching for an authentic Thai massage place not far from my house.
Most massage places in the areas or nearby claimed that they’re providing ‘Thai’ massage /or ‘Thai’ reflexology actually own by non-Thai people and don’t really massage the way we do in Thailand.??‍♀️ (It’s okay just not authentic Thai as they advertise and that’s quite disappointing.)

As someone who lived in Thailand for 25 years. I can say that Aee’s Thai Massage is absolutely authentic (owned by Thai, massages also provided by Thais). I couldn’t be happier that I eventually found this place away from my home-country, making me feel like I’m in Thailand every time I come here to relax?. This place is only 2 minutes away from my son’s preschool and 10 minutes away from my house!? I won’t go get massage from anywhere else as I already found this one.

“For a number of years I had Reflexogy with Susan. I am not aware of any one better. Roughly ten years ago I lost contact. 05/12/26 I went to Tai Chi Reflexology and Susan recognized me. I got 90 minutes deep tissue massage plus 30 minutes of head and feet. Susan is more than just a hard working good masseuse. I can't recall masseuse or masseur starting by immediately asking where I hurt? Susan is very strong and adjusts the level of therapy according to tolerance. There is a minimal language barrier which in no way hampered our communicating. She is adept in her observations. Mentions, but does not push. Massage table fairly average. Very simple and very clean spa. There is Buddhist chanting plus very low key music. It neither adds or subtracts. Parking is easy and is a few doors away from Fry's Food & Drug. She did take a lot of very quick calls. There were also a considerable number of walk-ins. I see it as a popular place that is going to stay in business. Some aspects of the massage were painful. I was silent, knowing I am badly out of shape. The prices are far below today's average good spa pricing. In about 55 years, Susan was one of three people who refused to take all of my tip. The deep tissue, which was actual deep tissue was the same price as I paid for Swedish 30 or more years ago. For too little money, I got smart and strong effort, and then could not give what I normally would tip for good massages. I was physically uncomfortable at the end of the massage which is to be expected.
My many discomforts are all reduced or gone and may improve over the next couple of days.
Your chances for some degree of relief are increased by Susan asking you, where you hurt, and than be careful but thorough.
06/24/26 visit: Addional impressions offered 6/26. How I felt prior to massage and a couple of days after is an improvement from 50+ years experience. I have had and continue to have problems massage can't repair or rejuvenate. My belief is Susan is better than other LMT, many of whom were very good.
As she is working you can notice her checking for things she may be able to some degree she may alleviate. My feelings are she is highly observant and intelligent. As a licensed massage therapist she can't offer medical advice but does offer some of her observations“
