“I've had several OB Dr's and Midwives over the years out of state and what I considered pretty standard women's care along with it. Moving here I was already 12 weeks pregnant and needing to establish care. Being hopeful for a Midwife I was so grateful to find this group. I met several Midwives at the Val Vista location throughout my appointments at Valley Women and all of them were above my expectation. The best care I have ever had. Every time I came for an appointment I left with more insight; I felt heard and comfortable discussing anything. I learned more about myself and pregnancy during my time at Valley Women with the Midwives than any pregnancy/women's care I've ever received before. I find myself more disappointed I haven't received care from them sooner, but I'm happy I will be moving forward. I am very grateful for the care I've received and cannot recommend the Midwife group enough. They are so wonderful and far above the rest.“

She delivered both my kids 3 years apart and remembered delivering my son and made sure she was there for my daughter even though she was not on call. “I was a patient with VWFW back in 2018 when I was pregnant with my first and using the midwifery services. They have an incredible program, Family Circle headed up by Kate Lakritz. You break up into groups of families who are due the same month and have a class once a week with wonderful guest speakers. It's a great program to meet other women going through the same journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. The classes are fun, informative, and a great space to ask any and all questions. As a first time mom it was such a support to have Kate and the rest of the group to learn from. I would 10/10 recommended joining if you're a current OB or midwife patient! Even now 3 years later we keep in touch with Kate and some of the parents from the group!“

The ultimate girls-girl. Her bubbly, kind, fun, and compassionate personality immediately made me feel safe and cared for. She was professional and thorough in her explanations, and her bedside manner instilled confidence, making me feel truly understood and supported throughout my visit. She assured me that she would be by my side during this difficult situation and would always be there if I needed her. I left knowing she had my absolute best interests in mind.
The amount of reassurance, kindness, and care I received was truly beyond anything I could have imagined. I felt completely supported and at ease every step of the way.
