I was a patient with VWFW back in 2018 when I was pregnant with my first and using the midwifery services. They have an incredible program, Family Circle headed up by Kate Lakritz. You break up into groups of families who are due the same month and have a class once a week with wonderful guest speakers. It's a great program to meet other women going through the same journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. The classes are fun, informative, and a great space to ask any and all questions. Wow!! My GF just went in for her yearly exam which is stressful enough. I only say this from a truly epithetic and observational perceptive. Especially in our household, well any doctor's visit for that matter. GF comes home after the appointment in a complete frazzle and states we need to go to the emergency room because of elevated blood pressure. Upon further investigation, prior to seeing the Doctor one of the medical assistants comes in and asks her "how long have you felt the baby kick"? This place is kind of old, it's been around a while and it shows.They checked my temp at the door and of course required face coverings.The staff is so friendly and nice tho, I couldn't even think of going anywhere else. I see Dr Elizabeth and has the sweetest manner about her and settles all of my nerves best she can.I'm on my third or fourth IUD (TMI?) and have had zero issues and zero periods! Highly recommend this location and the Mirena IUD too.
