“We have gone to April a few times now for haircuts and she always pulls through. I have an appointment with her next week refreshing my red hair and I have no doubt that she will make it beautiful. From the few times I’ve been in the salon I have never heard her speak ill about anyone. It’s very refreshing knowing that you can go get your hair done and not worry about someone talking about you in a negative way as soon as you walk out the door. “Kimberly and Cheryl were absolutely wonderful, Both my son’s and my brother’s haircuts turned out perfect thanks to them. Unfortunately, our experience was almost ruined when another blonde stylist came in midway through. My son is 4 and has had several successful haircuts before, so I knew exactly what I wanted. Yet this stylist, without having been involved, walked over when we were nearly finished and (while looking visibly disgusted) asked, ‘So what are we going for here? A mullet?’

To be clear, it was nowhere near a mullet, and the comment was both unprofessional and unnecessary. Aside from her inappropriate remark, everything else was great but it’s disappointing that someone representing the salon would think speaking to customers that way is acceptable.“

I haven’t gotten my hair braided in years due to the inconvenience & time it used to cause & take. I made a last minute decision to get my hair braided & had my first appointment with HumbleQueen.

My appointment was at 8am, I arrived about 8 minutes early & she arrived right behind me & opened the door; after confirming a few things & setting up we started around 8:15am. I had 2 braiders and we finished around 11:45am. All the ladies were nice, the salon is nice.

My hair came out gorgeous, I’m not tender headed but in my opinion they braided so softly; if I hadn’t downed a cup of coffee to stay awake I would’ve fell asleep in the chair.

Seriously, I had a great experience & would encourage others to book. Had I known they were near & it would be this easy I would’ve been coming!“
