I was able to observe. They accept all types and ages for their form of Martial Arts. Regrettably, I can not participate due to a severe form of Cervical Spinal Disease, my SportsMed doctor will not give me clearance, due to my physical condition. However, if you want a superior place to train, they are it. I, personally, have studied Hap Ki Do since 1975, but I use Tai Chi Chuan to practice now, it requires no contact. But if you are looking for a superior school, check them out!
We absolutely love this place! Everything is new, clean, and very well designed. The air quality and lighting are excellent, which makes it super comfortable. It’s very family-friendly, and the staff are incredibly professional and welcoming — they really make the whole experience even better.
The only small downside is that T-Mobile signal doesn’t reach here. That’s not the place’s fault, of course, but we ended up getting Xfinity Wi-Fi access for $10/month, which works well for internet and Wi-Fi calling. It would be nice if free Wi-Fi were available, but honestly, this is such a minor thing compared to how great the place is overall.

Taekwondo isn't just for boys! I have two girls in Tiger Rock-- I wanted them to learn some self defense and confidence before they went out into the world on their own. We've been going a year now and out of all the extra curricular things they have tried, this is the one that will serve them best in life. Mr. McKay and Mr. Freeman have been their main instructors this past year and we absolutely love them both. They take the time to talk to the parents and have relationships with all the kids. Some of the things you will learn at TR is how to break boards, how to spar, how to kick and punch correctly (on target pads and bags), and how to take a win AND a loss (tournaments)....read full review
