Professors Helen and Jimmie are so welcoming and brilliant at teaching jiujitsu. On my first day, I felt like I was part of the family at Gracie Barra Huntsville. As a woman, it can be intimidating to try a male-dominated sport, but this is a great place for women of all ages to train as well as make friends!

I can’t say enough good things about Gracie Barra Huntsville. I started only about two months ago and I love it here. Professors Jimmie and Helen are highly talented, passionate professors with an incredible ability and patience to teach jiu jitsu to all ages and skill levels. They lead a great family-like environment which is complemented by excellent training partners and a squeaky clean mat space. I’ve learned so much here and made a lot of new friends already. You will not regret joining the Gracie Barra Huntsville team.

Exceptional School! I had been looking for a Gracie Barra to open in Huntsville for several years. I wanted to recommend a good martial arts program for my grand children. I'm so glad they opened. My two grandchildren have been here for about 8 months and results are fantastic. The owners/instructors are extraordinary. Skilled. Patient. Kind. I have been training in martial arts for more than 40 years and this is one of the best run schools I've seen. - Mark
