“10/10 experience! I never have had my eyebrows or eyelashes done before in my life so I was a bit nervous. I picked Mitu’s just based off google reviews and she did not disappoint. She made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked in. The salon was clean and had very relaxing vibes. Mitu was so kind and gentle and made sure I had anything I needed. I am so happy with my results, my eyelashes are perfect, and I have always struggled with my eyebrows but I feel so much more confident now. I told her just to shape them how she thought would look best for me and she nailed it.
I got an eyelash lift and tint and eyebrow threading and tint. I’m including photos of my before and after.“

“We happened upon Jake's while driving through Birmingham during lunchtime looking for good, fried catfish. The plus was Jake's was also a Caribbean restaurant. I had the curried chicken with Caribbean rice and fried sweet plantains. My husband had the catfish platter, which was a beautifully fried, crisp piece of white meat filet. The curried chicken was delicious - a nice-sized drumstick and thigh, which were braised to perfection - moist and tender with no fat, how do they do that?? The curry was tasty and went perfectly with the rice. I love sweet plantains, and I was served a generous portion, so I had leftovers. I highly recommend Jake's!! Affordable, delicious food and generous portions, can't beat that!!“

He said he loves what he does and it shows! Today, I told him to surprise me with some Halloween nails and he did not disappoint.
