She did a great job going over after-care instructions. She just finished the touch up on my eyebrows, and I’m so happy with the overall look! I wanted them to look natural and like myself but better! I’m looking forward to seeing her soon for permanent eyeliner.

Vern was one of the last great old-time barbers, who always took his time to make sure you looked your best. Sadly, Vern passed away in May 2025 and the shop is permanently closed. RIP

This is my first ever review but this place and people deserve it! It was my first time going to Nirvana nails and spa which was very last minute but I’m glad I decided to go. I had issues with who did my nails before at another nail spa and was seeking HELP. Luckily I found Lex and she did such a WONDERFUL job on my nails! I love my nails long and she did them perfectly! She was also really nice to talk too. All the other staff seemed friendly as well. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you all!

I am thoroughly pleased with my haircut and layers today! My hair was around 29 inches in length. It now rests right around my shoulder blades in nice layers. Job well done! Everywhere else I called wanted $65 to even trim it let alone cut it. I paid a whopping $21 for my haircut today. I'm so pleased with the outcome that I'm already planning to return for it to be colored next month. I cannot wait to see how it turns out either. I've already received a ton of compliments since having it done today. Great atmosphere, very down to Earth stylist and clean. What more could you ask for?!

We discovered 9-1 Plumb after getting an outlandish estimate for a repair from another company we’d been using, who also couldn’t get us on the schedule to complete the work for three weeks. Based on their reviews, we decided to call 9-1 for another estimate. I’m glad we did. Lisa and office staff were friendly and professional, and kept me meticulously updated on arrival times by phone and text. Pricing is above board, transparent and fair. The pricing for various services is documented in a binder, which I really appreciated. Michael proved to be top notch at diagnosing the problem quickly, giving you options for correction, explaining the scope of work and pricing. He suggested for a small correction he noticed to ward off another potential problem, which I also appreciated. Because of this, I ask for Michael for every job, and he does not disappoint. When it was time to repipe our home 5 months ago, I got quotes from multiple other companies, but again, chose 9-1 and Michael to do this project, because of the quality of the materials they use, the outstanding warranty, the process of explaining all parts of the job, and the assurance that I would receive the level of service and work I had experienced on smaller jobs in my home. Again, they did not disappoint. Thank you Michael and 9-1 Plumb for consistently excellent service, and for the effort you put into proving that you value your customers!

My old warm air unit packed in and Craig came out the same day to take a look. As expected the system was knackered. As I was at work Craig rang me and explained the situation, by 4pm I had the quotes for the boiler and heating system. Craig fast tracked the job so that we could have water and heating. There was then the added complication of my old shower needing replacing as it was now incompatible. This was also sorted. Communication was clear and all the work carried out was done efficiently with no mess. Would 100% recommend.

I had called Affordable because I thought I had a leak underneath my shower in the master bathroom and they probably came out and did a thorough investigation and gratefully nothing was wrong but then I mentioned my water filter system had been making a gurgling sound and Leo took the initiative to say let me just look at it Long story short it was a disaster under there that I had no idea about and Leo and Cameron took time to examine everything in both situations talk about ways to remedy it and took the extra step and measures to help me personally clean up the mess! They are exceptional ask for them!
An absolute Pro. We had a non-working electrical mess on our pier. He cleared out the age old crap, installed new systems and fishing floodlights. Our wharf has never looked so good. It was Top Notch, all the way, and he a real gentleman.

Wow, our experience could not have been better. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and competent, which is a rare find these days. They were understanding and accommodating of my son's special needs, we got what we needed and were in and out in about 30 minutes, including the time to fill out paperwork and schedule a follow-up appointment. This was our first visit and we were thoroughly impressed with Eastern Shore Pet Hospital!! Our 74# beast beagle Dexter hates going to the doctor. When Dr Jennifer walked in I think he fell in love ?!! It has always taken at least three or four people to sit on top of him for the doctor to look inside of his ears safely, but not today, he just sat there and let her look without fighting at all❣️ I was in total disbelief, I just could not hardly believe that he was letting her do it that easy. Since our other vet has retired, this is our first time seeing someone new….I think we’ve found a new Vet!!

Took my dog Bentley to the Fairhope Animal Clinic. We did just a regular yearly physical exam and fecal test. Going to the vet is never a fun experience for him but he did so well. Dr James was very kind and great with making Bentley feel comfortable. The front desk lady was very helpful and sweet. Everything was super fast we were in and out in just 12 minutes.. Will definitely bring him back in future, thank you for a great experience. Also he loved watching the cars go by in the waiting room window.
