“I had my basement flooring and baseboards done by Edmonton Flooring. They poured a thin layer of leveling cement over the floor to start. We did a vinyl click floor and some rubber workout mats. The workmanship was good. The cuts were straight. I thought the transitions they used between different floor types was of good quality and well placed. I would use them again.“
“We initially got in touch with Enrique through End of the Roll as we had questions regarding replacing the carpet on our stairs with Laminate. He was quite knowledgeable and pleasant right from the beginning helping us in preparing our stairs even though he did not have the job. As a result, we asked him for an estimate regarding having our home repainted. We only knew we wanted something lighter that would go well with the new flooring. Enrique suggested we go with Satin Silver as he had applied that colour, he purchases from Benjamín Moore with great results. We took his advice adding a darker colour on feature walls. We are very happy with the results with positive comments from friends who come to visit. In addition, and in a large part because we were so happy with the painting, we hired Enrique to replace our aging wooden deck with one using composite materials. My wife and I had different ideas but Enrique was able to work with us and come up with a redesigned deck we both really enjoy. With both jobs both Enrique and Peyman, who works with him, take their time, and don’t rush. When we have a question, they answer promptly, and we never had the impression they wanted to finish as fast as possible.“

“Initially found Aktas on Homestars that received the highest rating. I did my due diligence and requested quotes from the other top 5 rated. Aktas’ bottom line was still the most economical. But what impressed me the most was the actual quality and pride involved in the work conducted. Being a stickler for detail I witnessed the installation and found no fault. Matt even came by after the installation as a quality control measure to fix any minor imperfections.It is an utter shame that Aktas received erroneous negative reviews tarnishing their reputation. It is interesting to note however that all those negative reviews occurred on the same date which questions their legitimacy.“
