I searched for a Calgary, Alberta shoemaker who could repair my hand decorated German made Birkenstock’s purchased in rural Oaxaca, Mexico in January 2023. I wear these Birk’s every day always inside the house and never outside. Unfortunately, they were beginning to wear on the back heels. The artwork on the sides and straps are painted in the “Alebrije” style and I wasn’t about to throw them out. Toma rejuvenated them to almost new condition replacing the rubber outsoles (bottom treads) and he also fixed the cork midsoles. For work on Birkenstock’s I will not hesitate to give my recommendation for work well done.

Decent work, unfortunately the the glue wasn’t holding up and I had to fix it. He did an excellent job with the stitching. Very clean shop. Well organized. Easy to find. Would recommend.

Originally, I ask to punch the hole in my belt. Toma, who is the owner, is very friendly. He recommends different options and finds the right size of belt for me. He provides a lot of customized services for shoes and belts. The owner is very customer oriented. I believe he has the patience to answer your phone call too.
