Step Ahead

I arrived a couple of minutes late and this guy, who I think was the owner, had just turned off the lights and he was closing the door. He opened up for me again, however, showed me a couple of different models, brought me the size I asked for and then the size that actually fit, and tossed out the old shoes I'd been wearing that had holes in them. Now I'm very happy with my comfortable new shoes.

I have very wide and very flat feet, so I need specific shoes that fit my orthotics, and shoe shopping is always difficult. Christina helped me for about 45 minutes and we tried on more than a dozen pairs of shoes. She was extremely courteous and helpful. Highly recommend coming here! (I ended up finding some 4x wide shoes, which you won't find in many other stores)

Absolutely the BEST store. So honest. I tell everyone that asks me, about my shoes, which is so many people, where to go to get Alegra shoes. I am 72, have had foot problems all my life. Bought my first pair of Alegra shoes at Step Ahead last year and now I own 9 pairs of them. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned and the folks at this store are the BEST. Thank you to the management and staff.
