Derek replaced our skylights a few years back. Great job. He noticed 1 was scratched and arranged and installed the replacement. Later he repaired our roof after an ice dam problem, sourcing replacement shingles ( difficult to find). Again another stellar experience.
Today ( May 29/26) he came by at our request to reassure us that the hot water tank vent was sound. It is.
Derek is honest, straight forward and personable. His partner Elizabeth is great at explaining timing, options and is good at keeping commitments. A great company. I have never given a 5 star review; however TDC roofing most certainly deserves a 5.
In 2021, we hired Skylight Pros to replace three skylights, and their professionalism, promptness, and quality of work were outstanding. After the August 2024 Calgary hailstorm, we learned they also own TDC Roofing, a company that not only handles roofing but also subcontracts a variety of trades as needed. When it came time to repair our own home, we obtained quotes from our insurance provider and reached out to TDC for their estimates, which we shared with our insurer for approval. During the 2026 chinooks, work began: a new roof and skylights installed followed by eavestroughs, downspouts and facia. LUX did an amazing job replacing five windows. I’m not sure how I would have been able to navigate the 2024 hail storm without TDC Roofing. Derek managed to inspect my roof within a day of the storm (was run off his feet for sure!). Both he and Elisabeth worked tirelessly to ensure my entire exterior was replaced within a very reasonable time given the volume of claims. Elisabeth assisted me in conversations with insurance and helped me tremendously as I selected upgrades such as Class 4 shingles. Other homes in my neighborhood have had multiple corrections from their contractor, whereas TDC Roofing fixed it right the first time.
