I had a facial done here yesterday by Olivia and it was an amazing experience! It was very relaxing and my skin feels amazing. The business is very clean and professional. 10/10 would recommend.

Just got my nails done by Anastasia and WOW 🤍 My friend recommended her or Krystal and I am so happy I chose her. She is so detailed and meticulous with her work you can tell she truly cares. I left feeling obsessed with my nails! Highly recommend her and already can’t wait to go back!

Very disappointing experience
I booked a birthday nail appointment for my stepdaughter. She has had nail extensions done many times before, and we have never once been told there was an age limit anywhere else. At no point during booking was I asked her age or informed of any age policy.
When my husband brought her in, he was told she needed to be 16 or older. When I called, I was told the policy is 14 or older. Being given two different age requirements from the same business shows there is no clear or consistent policy.
I cancelled my own hair appointment at another salon to make this birthday gift happen, only for them to refuse my stepdaughter’s appointment altogether.
The fact that my husband—who is visibly First Nation—was told something different than I was made this experience feel discriminatory and very uncomfortable.
Not clearly stating an age limit during booking is extremely unfair. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

after being a monthly customer for half a year, getting my nails done in about an hour, paying around $60, and always leaving happy, this time after having to go with a new nail tech, I’ve been asked to pay $136 for a nail set that took 2 hours to do ? didn’t have any special requests - just the usual gel with a simple design on short natural nails. It took a good 30 minutes for the nail tech to find the colours that I wanted, because she kept offering me different ones and suggested mixing them so we get the right colour??? (it didn’t look anything like I wanted at the end so still had to re-do it). when we got to the design part, she just started improvising and said that the design (literal black dots on a colour base) that i wanted didn’t look good so she just did her thing. i ended up going with it, because I didn’t want to spend another hour in the chair. im not too disappointed with the final result, but the fact that it took 2 hours, I had to ask for adjustments for obvious details (like keeping all the nails the same length???) is just not it. they wanted to charge me $136 for that, when I asked why is the price almost double what I usually pay, was just told that nail techs don’t have to honour the price ? ended up paying $116 and not coming again! used to love my nail tech, but this was ridiculous.

Having a terrible day, went in for a pedi and the woman (oh man I wish I remembered her name!) was so kind! She took extra care with massaging and pampering. Yes, it was easy to be the highlight on such a crappy day, but she was honestly what I needed to feel a little better for even an hour. She is always lovely when I go in, but today hit a little different and I am grateful to her extra attention and kindness today.

My review is based entirely on a phone call. I did not have any services at this establishment, so I am not reviewing their service, but the customer service provided to me on the telephone. I am from out of town and I have been receiving regular laser treatments from a wonderful clinic in Ottawa Ontario. I only had a few touchup sessions left, and I wanted to continue them somewhere in Whitehorse. This establishment is a block away from where I live so I called them for convenience sake. The person who answered the phone just answered “hello” and I can barely hear her. She was very unprofessional and it was kind of a weird start for the phone call. I asked her about the cost of laser hair removal and it took her about 10 minutes to answer my question. Finally, she wanted to book me in and I explain to her that I called this establishment because it seems like they’re open on Saturdays and later in the evenings. She informed me that her laser technician is only available until 3pm during the weekdays, and does not work the weekends. Complete waste of my time calling them. Not to mention how unprofessional and yes she was slightly rude and arrogant. If you read other reviews, many people have made the comment, and I entirely agree with them. Just based on that phone call, I wouldn’t give this business a penny.

They say service nowadays will be either quick, well done, or affordable, and sometimes two of those, but never all three. However, BYOU is always all three for me. Big thanks for the team here!
