I just got my hair trimmed and permed and I am ecstatic, I am so happy that I went to 'Kristen's Beauty Parlor'. The ladies there were super nice and very professional. Arnnetta was the lady that did my hair and she took her time to make sure everything was right and when I saw the result... WOW. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE... and their prices are reasonable too.
I can not say enough good things about this company! They were quick, professional and friendly. I was stuck at my sisters and my car wouldn't start, needed it towed to a repair shop and they came right out for a great price. Thank you so much! I wouldn't use anyone else in the area but them!

Updated because I realized I should still give 5 stars for the dentist and the assistant with the pretty hair (sorry can’t remember her name) They were amazing. I won’t hold them accountable for the secretary.
I would have given five stars, but unfortunately, my experience after the procedure has been extremely disappointing.
I drove nearly two hours to your office and had all of my teeth extracted, only to leave without being prescribed antibiotics—even though I have an active infection. I find it unacceptable that after such a major procedure, I had to spend the following day trying to fight to get proper medication called in.
What made this situation even worse was the way I was treated by one of your front office staff members, whom I believe may be named DD. Instead of listening and helping, she was rude, dismissive, unnecessarily judgmental, and far too concerned with questioning why I needed my prescription sent to different locations. Quite frankly, that was none of her business. My only concern was getting the medication I needed while I’m in pain and trying to recover.
There is a major difference between empathy and compassion. I wasn’t asking anyone to feel sorry for me—I was expecting basic compassion, professionalism, and respect. Instead, I was met with attitude and hostility at a time when I was already vulnerable and uncomfortable.
No patient should ever be spoken to or treated this way, especially after undergoing a procedure as serious as full dental extractions. If someone is unhappy doing the job they chose, that frustration should never be taken out on patients who are simply asking for appropriate care.
The dental work itself may have been fine, but the lack of aftercare and the unacceptable behavior from staff have left a very negative impression. I sincerely hope management addresses this, because I highly doubt I’m the first person to have had an issue with this employee—and no patient should have to experience this level of disrespect.
I may change my review depending upon my next interaction when and if I ever go back there. I am supposed to go back in 6 months for my permanent dentures but I may find another dentist. I won’t accept being treated with such disrespect. I don’t care what side of the tracks you believe I came from. So many reasons to get teeth removed but some are so small minded and are so quick to make assumptions about who a person is or what they have done when they have bad teeth.
I’ll say it again she doesn’t belong working in that type of setting. Not with her mentality.
Having just moved to Romney, WV back in Aug '24, this has been my GOTO place for building supplies. They have ALWAYS been helpful and professional. They give a military discount and it's very much appreciated.
Carries Visions of Beauty is a great place for a haircut. It's clean and professional and they did an excellent job on my hair! Their shop is right across from farm credit and Fox's Pizza. It's in a house turned Beauty parlor so you'd literally never know it was there unless you're from town. It's got a big bay window with a little pink open sign in the left corner. There's parking in front and more handicapp accessible parking in back. I highly recommend them!
Very nice people who take the time to help you no matter how long it takes to make sure you are satisfied. They do great work I will not go anywhere else.
Love this place. Friendly, helpful staff. Never seen it crowded in the gym/fitness floor. Good air flow.

Jill's barber shop in Romney was very nice, a lady named Jesse cut my hair and I liked it, I would go there for a haircut again, I don't get many because I've got very long hair, but when I do want a haircut again I will go there and ask for Jesse, although I'm sure all the women are just as good. Very friendly people.
After having a hard time with national delivery flowers I decided to call Tiffany and Romney West Virginia and they sent a gorgeous spring flower bouquet with the vase to my friend who I could not get any of the company to send flowers to Romney West Virginia. Kathy at Tiffany's wasvery personal and pleasant and had no problem sending the flowers to my friend. I would recommend this especially the people out of town from Romney because the the national ones don't go to Romney
