DISCLAIMER: I am leaving two stars instead of one because the staff was friendly, and I understand that everyone can have an off day. This review reflects only my personal experience. Others may feel differently, and I encourage people to form their own opinions.
I am not someone who typically leaves negative reviews (this is actually my first), and I am not easily bothered by minor inconveniences. However, I am very protective of my animals, as they have no voice and we are their advocates.
I will start by acknowledging that some of this is on me. I should have done more in person research instead of relying on online photos and reviews. This was only a one day experience, so it is possible things are better most of the time. That said, I found the online presentation to be misleading.
Today was my dog’s temperament trial, and staff knew I would be dropping him off at 7am. When I arrived, no one was present, the lights were off, and there was little direction on where to go. After calling, someone eventually came out. There does not appear to be a clear reception area, and the setup was confusing, with multiple buildings and no clear point of contact.
I was instructed to place my dog in a fenced yard area, after which he was left alone in the dark. It was around 40 degrees outside. No one remained outside to monitor him, and there was no visible lighting. While I assume staff could see him from inside, it did not feel professional or welcoming, especially for a dog in a new environment. I would expect supervision during drop off, particularly for a temperament trial.
When I returned around 12:30–1pm to pick him up, there were no dogs playing outside, which surprised me based on the impression that dogs would be interacting throughout the day. I may have misunderstood, but it was not what I expected.
Upon pickup, my dog was muddy and smelled strongly. While I did not request grooming, every facility I have used has at least wiped his paws off before returning him to me. This may not bother everyone, but I feel it is worth noting.
Overall, I will not be bringing my dog back. This facility may work well for some, but it is not a good fit for me. I did not feel comfortable leaving my dog here for an extended period and did not feel confident that the animals receive the level of attention I expect.

Bruno had a great time on his vacation! Made new friends! Definitely recommend if you need doggie daycare or boarding.

Inquired about boarding my 2 dogs. They had a long list of requirements and said something about a 24hr temperment test. I scheduled ahead of time. The day came and i called before bringing my dogs and they rudely told me they couldnt take my dogs. They never even saw my dogs.

I boarded my cat for a week while out of town. The staff seemed truly sincere in their care of my pet. I would recommend them for any animal.

Please do not depend on the website and speaking to the advertised phone number about boarding your cat. I was told my cat would be able to be kept in a full size standard bedroom with windows, cat towers, etc etc. We went to drop our cat off today and it is a literal concrete jail cell that may be 2 feet by 2 feet. Barely big enough for a litter box. Rusted metal bars, cold, unfriendly terrible situation. I would NEVER recommend this business to ANYONE for cat boarding. Please do not trust these people with your feline friends if you care about them. Please please for their safety. God only knows what would happen to them. Thank God I have a trusted friend and house sitter that will be caring for my cat while we are gone. They also were extremely hesitant and embarrassed to show the living quarters to us when we asked to see them.

Wynn passed their dog tolerance testing (she spent two hours with them), and this gave me a high comfort level about my girl Wynn being with other pups (something I know Wynn loves). Wynn had her first stay this past week, and based on her heavy napping afterwards I would say she thoroughly enjoyed herself. Of course Wynn needed a good shower upon returning home, and this is an enjoyable opportunity for Mother/Daughter to bond. Wynn and I met staff Stephanie these two visits, and she brilliantly represented Country Roads both times. Wish list: puppy play photos for Mother (on Facebook or via cell phone) who misses Wynn terribly when apart.

Great dog care. They screen your dog for general group compatibility and recommend group or private care for day or overnight care. They have some services as well.
