When I first took my son (9 year old) to Butch's gym a year ago, I was wary about introducing him to combat sports in general.

I am happy to say now that those worries were misplaced. Butch and his team are AMAZING! Jiu Jitsu is a demanding sport and has increased my son's cardio capacity immensely. Beyond that, it has helped him build lean muscle and greatly improve his overall confidence.

I cannot say enough about the staff and the curriculum. The gym has a very family vibe and we felt welcomed from day 1.

If you are on the fence, definitely give it a try.

I’ve boxed for 7 years in and out a few gyms and this gym is the best , the coaches are patient and care about the students, the knowledge they have and how they transfer it is a 10/10 I love it !

My kids wanted to try martial arts, so I reluctantly agreed. I contacted a friend that has trained with Butch for many years and he suggested I join a class. Very glad I did. I'm a white belt (no stripes), but that doesn't matter to me. I love learning, drilling and rolling. Every person I've met and rolled with in the gi and no gi classes has been patient, welcoming and happy to share information. My kids still go with me sometimes and the kids instructors are also amazing. They push the kids to better themselves, building confidence and discipline. My only regret is that I didn't start this journey 30 years ago.
