Mendenhall 1884 provided an unforgettable experience on our latest vacation. Nestled in Bath, Berkeley Springs, WV, this quaint B&B exceeded our expectations. Claire and Greg, the owners, welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home. Claire's culinary skills shone through in the delicious breakfasts, and Greg's warmth made us feel like family. The rooms were perfectly appointed, and the house had a relaxed atmosphere. We appreciated the local coffee, brewed with award-winning water, and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We'll definitely be back, and I recommend this B&B to anyone seeking a serene getaway.

Good prices, and they even still pump gas for you if you want! Inside is very country gas station, which is great. You, can get quite a few things from truck rope, tobacco, soda, snacks, and even food. There's an areas you can sit down and eat too

Dogs are treated with lots of TLC by Leona and Kim. Even my senior scaredy/aggressive mini doxie female Stella loved these ladies so getting her groomed was no struggle as it had been at other groomers.
Wonderful and talented staff people. Guitar repaired in a timely and affordable manner, and I thought that six string could NOT be fixed. If they don't have it in stock they will get in the store. I made two special orders which worked out well for me. Quite an inventory for a small town store. Very glad this place exists. They even give lessons.

The place overall was very nice, with clean well-laid out and appointed changing and massage rooms; super comfy, thick robes; and a soothing vibe. The staff were very friendly and professional throughout. Bring cash for the well-deserved tips.
She does an excellent job with our dog. We have also boarded our dog with her with no problems. Our dog is always happy when we pick her up.
First, the history alone is fascinating. We were here the week of Thanksgiving and waited a little too late to get appointments but as luck would have it, my son and I got the last facial (me) and last massage of the day. It started with 15 minutes in the Roman Bath. My son has Ankylosing Spondylitis and I have metastatic breast cancer that spread to my bones. The 15 minutes was awesome. I really felt a difference in my joints The staff was outstanding. Nate helped us figure out the process and went out of his way to help us. We were the last appointments of the day but he gave 9:00 am energy. Both our treatments were terrific and they gave us both a complimentary paraffin wax dips on our hands. It was the perfect end to our Thanksgiving trip.
