This place is awesome!!! Drove from Martinsburg to sell a Les Paul, and got fair market price. Will definitely do all of my music buy, sell, trade and consign here. Even had a rare Left Handed candy red fender custom shop tele with a bigsby. Gorgeous guitars, great amps and an amazing vibe!!!
I make sure to stop by Black Cat every time I’m in Berkley Springs. It has an awesome layout, good selection of all kinds of instruments and accessories, and there’s always some kind of hidden gem I seem to find there. I’ve bought everything from a guitar and amp, to cables, straps, drum sticks, you name it. There’s always something for a musician to find here. I wish every music store was like Black Cat. The staff is extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Plus open mic nights, lessons, and community involvement all around make this a blueprint for how a local music shop should run.
