Was a walk in for haircut, place is a ghost town 3 woman standing around but all too busy to give me a haircut (only shaving the sides, 5 minutes of work / 5 minutes of prep and clean up). 10.17 am girl says we have someone coming in in 5 minutes, yeah ok because someone really booked an appointment for 10.23 am. Gotcha! And then tells me the next available appointment is 4 days away, HA! Yeah I'll go to a non chain barber who actually cares about the clientele.

Over the past couple years I’ve been to a few different Haircut/Barbershop places in the last few years and I have to say Men’s Hair House is my favorite in the West Bend area. Their services are reasonably priced and my favorite stylist Kristal does an amazing job! I would recommend anyone looking for an amazing haircut/beard trim to go see her.

No one showed up! My boyfriend schedule an appointment via their online booking system & received a confirmation email & everything. He arrived to his appointment 7 minutes early to find no one at the salon, no big deal, people run late. Well he waited 25 minutes passed his appointment time, calling numerous times & even going to the door (where there was also someone else waiting for their appointment, to not be had). No one ever came to let him in. He & the other person ended up leaving because no one ever opened the salon. As a salon owner myself, this is VERY unprofessional, especially with the confirmation email to prove the appointment.Services: Beard trim

They are closed due to covid, but didn't call any of the clients who had scheduled appointments to tell them. They just put a sign on the door.

Be very specific when telling them how you want your hair cut... Needing a haircut after moving to the area, I went to Men's Hair House. It looked clean and organized. After getting an appointment I told the "barber" it'd been over three months since my last cut and I usually do a Five on the top and three on the side (I've told the same thing to 3 other barbers/stylists in the past, as well as using #5 & #3 guides on trimmers during pandemic haircuts). Everytime the results are relatively similar...about and inch on the top, and shorter on the side. She puts the guide on the trimmer, and it looks large so no worries. She then proceeds to run the clippers down middle of top of my head like the boot camp scene in Full Metal Jacket, and, just like the movie, it buzzes down the scalp. I stare at the mirror...and realize there's nothing I can do. She continues to run clippers over and over my scalp, and the the sides... I have no idea if she used incorrect guages, ran the clippers the wrong way, or what..but my head was basically shaved down to a quarter inch. Even if she got guages wrong...its all one length...all buzzed. My wife claims it's my fault for not specifying length (see above where I've used same instructions to several stylists in the past and never came out looking like a marine). And I know it'll grow back, but still...I will never go back, and cannot recommend this place. On the bright side...I'll be saving a ton of money on product for the next few months...

I set up an appointment 2 days prior for my son and even set a reminder in my phone after setting the appointment. 20 minute drive and standing in the lobby with my 4 year old and they don't see an appointment. Ill never go here again and suggest you don't either.

The service was always great. Since covid times started, I've not been able to schedule a haircut. It's hard to find a new barber mid-apocalypse.Services: Haircut
