I went to the emergency room to get help with my severe back pain that radiates down both my legs that hurts so bad I can hardly walk. After waiting for more than an hour, I was called back. The nurse was rude and in a hurry dismissing me as I was a drug addict looking for pain medication. Then the Nurse Practitioner comes walking in with the same attitude stating if you can't walk maybe you should go to a nursing home. Not only did they not do any testing because its the weekend and we can't do MRI'S without the radiologist being here no CT Scans no blood work no urine specimen nothing but shitty attitudes. Needless to say I was sent home and told there is nothing I can do for you. This ER needs major staff improvement from the doctors to the nurses to the transporters. I will not trust my health with them again. Go home and suffer is what I was actually told.

Went in for my man's tooth pain, treated like he was pain pill seeking. Absolutely ridiculous, my man got work done on his teeth about a week prior, and he'd been dealing with pain from the work for a week. He called his dentist over and over again looking for help with the pain, but they refused him. We went into Marshfield, they gave him a couple Vic's which helped tremendously (only 2), but by the next day he was back to severe pain. We went into aspirus since we were on that side of town, and worse mistake. We waited three hours for the doctor to literally say it wasn't his problem my man's teeth hurt since the hospital didn't do the work. The doctor said there were all sorts of things he could do, but since the dentist wouldn't treat them he wouldn't either. I was taking care of my man all week, he could hardly eat, sleep, or drink anything. He was taking so much Tylenol and advil that I was nervous about his intake. The only time he felt better was on the Vic's given the night before. He wanted pain pills to get him through till the next dentist appt which he had to schedule with a different dentist. I understand pain pill seeking is a problem, however, a man being unable to eat, sleep, drink, and getting migraine headaches from pain shouldn't be treated this way. Stop going here, stop giving your money to them, I wish my mans could sue for malpractice. I was up all night with him last night. Teeth pain is so severe (I've had it before and I'm sure anyone reading this understands as well). Treat patients for heavens sake, stop treating them like they are addicts. Btw the doctor could look in and see the rotted tooth , along with the work done by the dentist...

I went in on Thanksgiving with a horrible cough like hurting my chest everytime I breathed. It wasn't a horrible wait to get back but once a doctor did talk to me they said o you have covid and I said I really dont think its covid but go ahead and test me so they did and also a chest X-ray. Once my chest X-ray came back good they said my covid test would take a bit so they where sending me home to take Tylenol for the chest pain and once my test results come back positive to stay home for 5 days. I went home with no answer and still in horrible pain and scared cause I really couldn't breathe. Test results was negative for covid and rsv and flu. I had a cough for 3 week till I could get in with my primary to be told I have a sinus infection and need medication to help me with my cough. I'm super upset that they heard I had a cough and instead of helping me said covid. Super disappointed

I was sick and went the walk-in clinic. I was impressed by the process and the staff. From check in, getting a chest x-ray, to getting results, it was quick and efficient. I was called after I left with results. I definitely recommend this clinic.

Contacted the wound clinic to get information and spoke with a very rude nurse by the name of Abra V. that stated she was too busy to bother to listen or answer my questions. Than wrote lies about our conversation to cover her incompetence and hostility towards me when I lodge a complaint with a patient advocate at the hospital! Shame on you Abra V nurse in the wound clinic. You are a very poor reflection of a nurse and give a bad name to to your clinic, hospital and nursing!

Walk in sent me to the ER January 22 after having severe abdominal and left side chest pains. When I walked in the receptionist was nice and got me checked in quickly, but that's about the only thing that didn't take forever. While I was in excruciating pain, I was made to sit in the waiting room and there I waited for an hour and a half before I was taken to the triage room. After that I was sent back to the waiting room where I then waited for another hour and a half to two hours trying not to cry from the pain. Finally a nurse called me back and took me to a room where they did blood work and hooked me up to their machine. Now, when I was at the walk in, the nurse there told me she was sending me to the ER for a CT scan on my abdomen after doing an EKG for my chest pains. The ER didn't do that CT scan. It took forever to get an x-ray tech to do a chest x-ray on me and then left. I didn't even need an x-ray. Once the nurse left it was now waiting time for the dr to come in, which took him forever. My boyfriend and I were starting to get very upset with the wait time. The dr comes in and gives me some Zofran through my IV, which didn't help cuz the main problem wasn't nausea. After half a day (2:30pm to 7:30/8pm) they finally just sent me home with some more Zofran, again, it didn't work. 2 days later I'm back at the ER with the same symptoms but worse. At that point I wasn't able to eat in 5 days and lost about 20 pounds, which didn't seem to concern the ER staff at all. The receptionist this time was rude and didn't even put my chart up for the triage nurse til everyone who came in after me was already taken back. They did another EKG on me and sent me back to the waiting room to wait for labs. The lab lady was very nice and knew what she was doing. She actually calmed me down quite a bit but unfortunately, I couldn't spend the whole time with her so back to the waiting room I went. It took about an hour for a nurse to call my name and she led me to a garage-looking area with privacy walls and the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in. Literally plastic chairs are more comfortable than what I was put in. This area was supposed to be faster when it came to a dr seeing you. It wasn't. I was sitting in that chair for about 30 minutes before an IV was finally put in and fluids were being pushed. The nurse who did my IV was very rude and had no bedside manners, and when she did my IV she hit a tendon in my arm that was made known to her by an INTERN, but she didn't listen to her and hit it anyway, and my arm has been in pain in that area ever since. Now I've been to the ER quite a bit in my life, due to chronic stomach problems, and they have always given me morphine for my pain, whatever this dr gave me was not morphine. It made me feel horrible, super out of it/sleepy, and very cold, which not one person offered me a blanket despite me visibly shivering. And instead of them ordering a CT scan like they should have, they ordered me an ultrasound, which the tech was very nice she actually gave me 4 blankets to keep me warm. The dr said my ultrasound came back good nothing was seen and sent me home after prescribing me more pills, one of which has a black box warning label and is extremely dangerous. I was there this visit from 9am to 1:30pm. I ask for medical records a few days later as I'm not seeing any improvements and ask to talk them over with a dr. He tells me everything looks good and that all my labs were normal. A week goes by and I'm feeling better, and even made an app with a GI specialist. GI specialist asks me if the ER ever went over my records regarding my liver and I tell her no they didn't. Turns out my liver in on the way to developing a disease called Fatty Liver, which can lead to other liver diseases and liver failure. She told me my liver is fine but I have to get it checked out every year now. If there's something off about an organ as important as the liver, tell your patients. At the ER I felt as t

I really don't understand the low ratings. I had the best care there after being admitted for emergency gallbladder surgery (with high risk). The day and night nurses went above the call of duty to make sure I had everything I needed and was comfortable. Every doctor that was going to be involved in my surgeries came and spoke with me. I had the best care I've ever had in my life. This wasn't my first rodeo in a hospital either. Thank you to everyone at Aspirus for giving me such great care!

DON'T bring your loved ones to this hospital! My mom was taken there by ambulance for a heart attack. Of course she tested positive for Covid although she has had NO signs or symptoms whatsoever! They put her on an isolation floor and our family had a ridiculous time trying to communicate with anyone! None of us ever got to speak to a doctor despite many, many phone calls and most of the nurses were rude, except for one named Nellie who read her chart for me. Even the switchboard lady was rude because we had to call again and again to find out what was happening with our mom, and no one ever called US, even though I repeatedly requested it. While she was in her room one night, the boyfriend or husband of one of the staff there came in and started a ruckus, security was called and my mom was scared because NOT ONE PERSON came in and told her what was going on. This place is subpar, at best.

Went to aspirus to visit with Lynn Kern for my first obgyn appointment. This is my first pregnancy so I was excited but nervous. The nurse who greeted me was very much robot-ish. Not the most friendly to start with. When I was met with Lynn she stated she need to be fast because she had another patient she was helping.. granted I was early for my appointment and this was my scheduled time with her. Anyways I proceeded and didnt ask much because I'm still very new to this all. Once she start the bedside ultrasound she asked if was still pregnant.. obviously I was confused but said yes. About a minute and a half rolls by and she decides this was taking too long and to send me to an ultrasound. I cried the whole way there.. finally in the ultrasound they confirmed a valid pregnancy. However I'm so upset she couldnt have taken a few extra minutes with the bedside ultrasound.. I'm now stuck with a $700 ultrasound bill that I believe was not needed at all. I'm with Marshfield Clinic now and much happier!
