I've been a patient in this practice for over 25 years. My primary care physician left after many, many years and briefly I had a different one, but my new one is absolutely wonderful. The nursing, PA, and administrative staffs are top-notch. The lab is efficient and accurate. While things were admittedly simpler before the practice was absorbed by ProHealth, the values of the people who work there have persisted, to the benefit of their patients.

My family and I have been going to this practice over 20 years. Once ProHealth took over the quality has drastically decreased. Now my doctor cancels and it’s months before I can get back in, the NP cancels for a “meeting”…I have a problem I’m dealing with and can’t see anyone. I called when I was really sick recently and no same day or next day appointments and I was sent to Urgent Care 3 times! I’ve never in my life had this problem and talking with other families they are experiencing the same. We love our doctor but are looking to have our family go somewhere else where our health and wellness is a priority and we aren’t viewed as another copay to collect.

I love my PA. This clinic gets you in and gets you figured out quickly. I have never had a bad experience here.

I love our doctor, but this clinic is a joke. Three weeks for my child to be seen for a bad rash? It could be very serious by then. Two weeks for the dr. to be able to sign a slip for the school? Craziness. But the absolute WORSE was just recently. We had our medication explode on the airplane and so we needed an early refill... it has been 20 DAYS and the nurses and staff still can't get it together enough to call it in. First they said we needed an appt first.. But the soonest appt is in two weeks. Then they said they could refill as long as there was an appt... then we were told the couldn't. Then they sent it, but to the wrong pharmacy... and on and on.. So my husband has been sitting without needed medication for almost a month! We are SOOOO out of there. Issue is I called another clinic, but because he would be a "new patient" we can't get him in there for two weeks. The operators are rude, do not return phone calls for days, if at all. I believe they will kill someone, if they haven't already due to their unethical behavior.

My family and I have been patients at this office for many years, my children for their entire life. Many things have changed since they were bought out by ProHealth, but that can't be blamed for everything. The staff on the phone is almost always rude and short with you. The only times I've consistently had any decency is when making an appointment. God forbid you need to change or cancel, be prepared for an unacceptable level of rudeness. We have addressed this with the Office Manager who said she would definitely speak with the staff however nothing has changed. On another occasion, we had to call the afterhours number as my 18mos old son was injured (turned out to be Nursemaid's elbow) - we contacted the on-call line at 9:15pm. After waiting an hour and not receiving a call back we decided to stop waiting and take him to the hospital. That was almost a month ago, never received a call back. When we brought it up to the Office Manager she said she would definitely look into it (the nurse flat out said, "this is a known problem with this doctor") and that we should give her a day or two and she would absolutely get back to us. Here it is ELEVEN days later and we still haven't heard back from her. I'm seeing a pattern. Honestly I like the doctor we see however I feel like he's amazing only if the kids are okay. When it comes to me, he doesn't treat me, he just tells me some line about stress and how my body handles it differently and moves on. Now that my daughter may have something out of the norm going on with her I can't get an honest answer. I knew something was wrong and had asked 4 months ago at an appointment about some of the issues with her that concerned me and was basically told to watch it and most of it was just "toddler stuff." Four months later I request that we actually DO something and run some labs to either figure it out or put my fears at ease. Sure enough something is going on and her labs were not normal. We had to repeat labs Friday morning to get a more in-depth idea of what is going on and now Monday afternoon I still haven't heard anything. To those thinking labs take a while, they don't - our first set of labs were done on a Friday and we had the results that same evening. So now not only am I kicking myself for not trusting my gut with my daughter 4 months ago, but now they make me wait and worry over the weekend and who knows how long before they can be bothered to call us. We also had an issue with an allergic reaction in my son (18mos old), and he was breaking out in hives along with a fever. We called first thing in the morning to see if we could get him in. Keeping in mind that I know we are not the only patient and that we are not any more important than anyone else, I was still shocked when they said the ONLY opening they had that day was at 2pm. They told me to give him Benadryl and come in at 2pm. I explained to the lady that one of two things were going to happen, 1) I was going to give him Benadryl and it was going to go away before 2pm, to which they would look at him and say he looks fine, wasting my time, the doctors time, and my money or 2) his reaction would get worse in which case I would have to take him to the ER or Urgent care. THEN they tell me that another doctor in the clinic has a 10:45am apt if I want it!? WHY wouldn't you check that first? Considering that the 2pm apt wasn't for OUR doctor either! It just seems like they don't use their head there. It's become very clear to me that my family and I are NOT what is the priority to them. Our money is, but not US. I will say that the lab gets 5 STARS from us. With having a 3 year old girl needing to be stuck 2 weeks in a row, those individuals have been absolutely stellar! They make her feel important, at ease and special. She talks about them now all the time, and even asked to bring them flowers at her second lab draw. They are very special people there and THEY will be the ones that I'll be sad to leave when we find a new do

I saw dr Robert Schellinger years ago, he put me on pain meds for back, I then went to pain management and one day I called for my refill and they said my dr was on vacation and to go to my primary dr to get enough meds to get me though till my pain dr was back, so I did, when dr. Schellinger barged into the room he claimed that I was getting pain meds from multiple places(not true) and started almost yelling at me basically calling me a drug seeker, and I was in so much shock I didn't think to ask where did you get this information what the hell are you talking about I just sat there like in shock, and then left, and then probably about five months later I couldn't pee for my drug test at pain management because I'm going to shy(imagine having that and being a Marine Corps infantryman, I did it though) and I got so upset with him I didn't go back for like for five months I just was in excruciating pain for that long and then I blew out my shoulder and couldn't take it so I tried to make an appointment with Dr. Schellinger and I ended up seeing one of his nurse practitioners, she gave me some pain meds and I stretched them and made them last but my shoulder was still messed up so I went back and he gave me crap again about being a drug seeker saying that he removed me from his practice except for it was a different injury, I don't know what this doctors problem is, but he has one, STAY AWAY!!!!
