Nic W. was incredibly helpful when he addressed a water leak coming from my A/C unit. He explained everything to me in a way that was very informative. He also adjusted my unit to make it run more efficiently which will save me money.
There are some people who simply do a job. There are others like Nic that are dedicated to the craft of their profession. I tell you what; if everyone approached their job like Nic, this world would run a lot smoother. Bethke, you have an excellent technician working for you and I hope you recognize his talent.
I have lived in a 110 year old house for the last 40 years in central Madison. During that century, my steam driven heating system has gone through conversion from coal to heating oil to natural gas. By the time I took over, many hands had been laid on, and it needed a lot of work. Bethke became my trusted partner in keeping the system going. We replaced the old pot belly boiler with a new Dunkirk boiler, added an automatic filler and started replacing the now century old main pipes. All went extremely well until this week.

We have been customers of Bethke since moving into our home 12 years ago, when we replaced the original air conditioner. Since then, we've subscribed to their preventative maintenance plan and have been happy with the service. During our most recent AC inspection, we mentioned that the system seemed to be struggling and noted that the warranty was only days away from expiring. The technician confirmed that the unit was underperforming, added a small amount of refrigerant to help us through the weekend, and scheduled a follow-up appointment with a specialist for Monday morning, which was also covered under our maintenance plan.
