Dan and Kayla are our go to duo for our taxes. They've ben taking care of us since we moved back to Sun Prairie few years ago. Dan has even fixed errors on other years' returns that I prepped myself. And... these guys are accurate. I love it!

I love counting tacks. I'm like rain man with that type of thing. And I know a lot of my numbers like the number that's 2 after 3 I don't remember how to spell it but I know how to say it at least.

Dan is amazing! We have complicated taxes, and not only does he go over every detail meticulously, but he also explains what he's doing in terms I can understand (I am NOT a numbers person). His service is worth every penny! Thank you, Dan!

Dan & Kayla have been helping us for years. They are always happy to help. My husband is self employed and our taxes can get complicated. Dan & Kayla are there for helpful tips and the assurance that we are doing the right things to keep the business growing. I couldn't imagine doing our business anywhere else.

We have been working with Dan and Kayla ever since we gave up doing our taxes online ourselves a few years ago. Very responsive, professional and quick turnaround. They have made it so easy every tax season that I don’t see us using any other option!

My ex-husband and I worked with Dan on our 2017 taxes, per our divorce decree in which we agreed to hire a neural third party to do our taxes for the last year of our marriage. Dan said he'd helped many clients navigate this kind of scenario. When I met with him, he was neutral in our discussion. When my ex-husband met with him, Dan was less neutral and expressed his displeasure when the ex-wife gets more out of the deal than the ex-husband. Neither one of us perceived this as "neutral."When I asked Dan to help me set up the estimated tax payments I needed to make on family support payments (again, part of the divorce decree), he informed me the new tax laws applied to me and I would not have to pay tax. I asked several times to confirm this, as this was a new tax law, he assured me I was included. I felt uncomfortable but decided to trust him, though I did not use his services the following year because I was not happy about the manner in which he treated both myself and my ex-husband during the process. (I'm grateful my ex shared his experience with me.)Ultimately I discovered I did indeed owe estimated tax payments on my family support--I was informed of this the following year when I had someone else do my taxes. I was upset and confused. I went back to Dan in 2019 to have him do my taxes, if only to go through my 2018 taxes to see if the other accountant was wrong. She was not. When I asked him to explain, he said he never told me I was exempt from paying estimated taxes, he did not remember that conversation, and reminded me I'll be incurring penalties in the form of interest accrued if I don't make my payments on time.Even if that was an honest mistake, the difference in the way he treated myself versus my ex-husband was unprofessional. If there was purposeful intent to misinform me of my tax obligations, then I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Divorce is an incredibly hard and vulnerable experience. Both parties should be treated with the same amount of professionalism and grace.

I will recommend no one that is filing for Homestead or steminist ever go to them I give them a bad review they are not the type of people that you would like to deal with when it comes to your money
