I reached out to Angela K. on very short notice because I was preparing for a special photo shoot for a local magazine (Brava) and needed some beauty support. Overall, I had a positive experience with Angela and her team. She was a good communicator, punctual on the day of, was largely efficient with everyone’s hair and makeup, patient, and the end products were largely good. Everyone seemed happy with their hair, but not everyone was happy with their makeup, myself included. I was unhappy with the first 3 lip colors she put on me, despite being clear I wanted pink and providing pictures. I did end up getting the right color in the end, but it took a lot of advocating by myself and my sister (maid of honor) in order to end up with something I liked, and caused us to run 20 mins late and my lip color was not dry by the ceremony. I was on the verge of crying during the lip makeup process. I was trying to let Angela guide me based on her expertise, but the colors were wrong multiple times once they were on my lips. It did not seem like Angela understood what I wanted and that she was trying to steer me away from what I wanted. It did make for a funny moment with my husband when I wiped the lip color off him after our first kiss, which was cute, but it would have been better if it had dried (if Angela had gotten the color right the first or second time). After the ceremony, I wiped off the lip makeup because I didn't want to deal with it.
The time management seemed a bit off, because I was rushed in the end and everyone else was done. She heat set my hair first, but she returned to me a bit too late in my opinion. Everyone else was done and I was not finished (even setting aside the lip color issue), which was not the plan. I was supposed to be done close to the end, but not the last.
My mom had to have her makeup done 3 times because she was not happy with it. The person doing her makeup did not seem like she understood what my mom wanted. The lip color was also wrong for one of my bridesmaids.
On the day of, she initially charged me based on the new prices and not what was in my contract. If I hadn’t already calculated the cost myself before the day, I would have potentially paid her more than I should have, because on the day of, things are chaotic and we were running behind due to the lip color issue and I needed to pay her and get to the venue urgently.
I got my hair cut at her salon 2 times prior to the wedding and she was helpful in guiding me to get more protein in my hair and to prevent breakage by using silk hair ties, a silk pillow case, and silk on my head for hats/under my hockey helmet. I did see a noticeable improvement in my hair leading up to the big day! The hair and makeup trial went pretty well. I requested my sister get her hair done as well on the same day because it was something fun for us to do together as an experience for the wedding. Ultimately, Angela did accommodate my sister getting her hair done as well (for a fair cost), but it did take some back and forth and Angela seemed hesitant to do that. I think she could have been more accommodating.
In the end, it all worked out and I think the bridesmaids, moms, and I looked and felt beautiful, but there was some undue stress that could have been prevented in my opinion.

I used Angela for my wedding hair and makeup this past November. I loved the experience and the results! She was extremely nice and spot on with exactly how I wanted my hair. Her and a team member were about to do my hair and makeup plus 4 others in about 4 hours. We even had time to sit for a whole meal and movie before photos. I highly recommend this company for any wedding needs!

Angela did an amazing job with me and my bridesmaids hair and makeup! She is personable, professional, and very experienced. She was able to make my inspiration photos look good on my complexion. Hair and makeup is such an important part of not only the brides day but also her bridesmaid. DO NOT book them. Not only was Angela probably the rudest and worse vibe to be around the day of, her style for hair is stuck in 1980. One of my bridesmaid showed a PONYTAIL with a few curls she gave her a 8 inch bump in her hair and 3 awful pony tails. When my bridesmaid tried to speak up Angela was SO rude and blamed my bridesmaid and "kind of" helped fix it. My entire wedding party re did their hair and makeup at the venue. She has young talented girls that work with her but she refused to let them help with follow up. Her breath reeks. She is incredibly over priced. I cannot believe people book this lady. If you're looking for a 80's throwback party she's your girl. If you're looking to have a good experience before your wedding day you better run the other way. I quite literally want to put in a request to my bank for fraudulent charges bc not a single bridesmaid looked good or deserved the treatment they got from her. Youre horrible at your job.

I have been going to Angela at Organic Beauty for about five years now for haircare and have been using the spa services for the last couple of years.
I had a big belly which I assumed was all fat. According to Angela a lot of times its fluids that are backed up because the lymphatic system isn’t working properly. After a few treatments my belly had flattened out a lot! Its gone down enough to give me a huge boost of confidence.
Before the treatment starts, you’ll undress in the treatment area and position yourself on the table then cover yourself with the provided towels, Angela will make sure you are comfortable in the room with a heated table, your body modestly covered, a pillow under your knees in a room with daytime diffused light & relaxing music playing in the background.
Angela explains what’s going to happen before & during the treatment. Questions about any of the treatments she has been able to answer any that I have had. I have used the Lymphatic massage, the Cool Restore Cryotherapy facial, Cool-Restore body Contouring & Vestal Cavitation Body Contouring.
The treatments I’ve had involve a gel put on my abdomen and a wand which is moved around on my abdomen or a hands on massage which Angela has gloves on her hands. Each treatment lasts about an hour to an hour and a half. After the treatment, you can rest for a while before dressing & heading into the rest of your day.
The treatment room is always clean and well organized so it easy for Angela to do her work. The plants around the room which makes the room pretty & feminine.
