She introduced me to the owner and main stylist, Heidi, who was radiating energy that filled the establishment, and which is well reflected in the decor. Many fascinating and fashionable antiques adorn the salon, letting you know you've stepped into somewhere special. She is usually heavily booked because her customers understandably love her work. But she's always willing to accommodate her clients. You can try your luck as a walk in, but I don't recommend it.I was very impressed with the establishment because it functions as a full-service, feel-good station. Stephanie provides esthetician services, including facials and waxing. Neeley creates stunning nail designs with an unimaginable array of colors, and if you've had a long week, Juan is their certified masseuse.My friend had a great time and looked incredible after the team at Salon Flo worked their magic. “Five-stars for the ease of location, overall vibe of the salon, and my stylist Vanessa! I have a lot of hair, like thick as it gets and really quite long. After a few poor experiences with bad hair cuts in my life, I've become pretty picky about who I'll go to now. Recently, I was in a bind not being able to get into my regular salon, so I took my mom's advice and came to Salon Amroze. I will now count this is as my new go-to place! It's small but very elegant and modern. Love the overall feel. Plus parking is a piece of cake, despite being located in the Third Ward. Vanessa did a stellar job on my hair. I was after a 'generous trim' if you will, and she cleaned me up real nicely. I loved how accommodating she was to my thoughts about length, layers, and style. Plus, she's just uber-friendly and who doesn't want that in their hair stylist. I believe Vanessa will be out briefly on maternity leave soon, but fear-not, she'll be back! And as will I.“
