I was in the market for a high voltage EV vehicle charge station upgrade in my garage and I requested quotes from 3 different local electrical companies. Dave (the owner) came out the same day and listened to my questions and needs. It was a bit tricky because I wanted to run wiring through my finished basement ceiling and out to my garage located on the opposite side of the house from my electrical panel to avoid digging in the yard or unsightly exterior house conduit runs.

I really appreciated that Dave did not lay on the "salesy" talk about how complicated my project was and how the price would "all depend on what happens" after getting into the project (one of the other companies was like this). I also appreciated that he simply communicated what he expected the project to cost face to face, same initial visit rather than waiting several days for a quote to show up like my other bids. That takes some risk and trust on their part but I really appreciated the quick quote estimate.

The work itself was top notch. I received higher amperage sub panel in the garage for future expansion, additional garage outlets for day to day use and the project was completed within 2 business days from my initial call! I really appreciated the responsiveness.

I don't always go with the lowest quote but in this case, Sunset was much, much lower than the others. I was so pleased with the project that I asked if Dave if he would complete another mini-project in a couple of our bathrooms which he did the same week!
