I cannot say enough positive things about John. First and foremost, he is honest! When I first met John a few years ago, it was after another company told me I needed to spend at least $3K.
John came out and said, I’m not sure if this will fix it but it’ll be $80 and it might work. …three years later, still working.
Our AC went out on Saturday, John came out within 24 hours of hearing the call and gave me some really helpful instructions and plan. I’m certain another company would’ve sold me a completely new unit, which I’ll probably need within the next year or two, but for many reasons it is great I can wait.
This was our second experience with Southwest Heating & Cooling and it was just as good as the first. We have a house in Cape Coral that we have spent a year massively upgrading and fixing to sell and are completing the process in late May and early June. We live in Wisconsin so it has not been as fast a process as it would be if we lived in the area. Our first experience with Southwest from 2023: We bought a new A/C in late 2017 after a power surge ruined ours. We have had continuous problems with it and the company we bought it from has repaired it so many times that we actually spent more on repairs than it originally cost. Worst company I've ever dealt with. The technicians were very rude during the install, they installed the AC condenser right next to by back patio door, instead of were the owner and I discussed putting it. I spent over 15k on a new furnace and AC unit with this company about 6 months ago. Every person that lives here in Colorado knows we have had a very mild winter so far and have not had any really cold Temps until today. I woke up to a 60 degree house and the furnace not working right. I called the supposed 24 hour emergency number and nobody answered. I did end up receiving a phone call about an hour later and I was told they could send a technician... read full review
