    I have a Great Grandma a set of Great Grandparents and my Grandparents buried here, Grandparents since 1987 and 1989, and i have watched the conditions of these ground deteriorate enough over the years where it has brought me to this.... stone unleveled, sinking graves, a tree was starting directly in front of the stone, I mean if ground crews are doing proper trimming around stones (which that hasn't been done properly in years either, to the point that I will have a trimmer with me to trim by my loved ones stones, even before the current ownership there was a issue where all the back over stones got scratches into them from the lawn mowers, and we were out to section... read full review

    Members of 4 generations of Greinke and Kerlin families are resting at Woodlawn Cemetery; including Arthur Kerlin who was the first casualty from Cudahy of World War I and the namesake of American Legion Post #16. Every Memorial Day since his internment at Woodlawn in the early 1920s, the Legionnaires have performed a morning ceremony at the graveside, including a benediction, laying of flowers and the playing of TAPS. In the early years they had a volley, 21 gun salute.

    Everything was explained to us in detail. This was my first time planning a funeral; they were extremely helpful. Many family members buried at Woodlawn. There’s a reason why.
