Called to speak with someone about removing seasonal decorations for fall clean up and got a gentleman named Darrell who was very nice and kind with a reassuring voice. I explained to him that D/T being hospitalized after having major surgery I was unable to get out there on Friday to remove a very expensive flower basket and shepherd’s hook from my father’s gravesite that I had just placed on his birthday in September. Darrell reassured me that he understood my concerns and that he personally would go and retrieve the items for me and store them until I was able to come and get them. I truly appreciate Graceland Cemetery. I have so many family and friends that I visit often. They've done an amazing job helping me with preplanning my mother's burial. I am forever grateful.
I wanted to say thanks to all the help I have received from your staff and especially Bill Hoffman, who has done an excellent job in getting me information on my ancestors that are buried in your cemetery. I do a lot of family history research, and with his help I have gotten a lot of information. Sometimes it has been very difficult to try and get information from some cemeteries, and even find people that are on site. I really appreciate that there people that are there during the week who I can contact. I do not live in the area but I would highly recommend this cemetery.
