“The whole experience was good. Only glitches were that funeral staff said they would help load flowers and such into our vehicle after the service and the staff all left before we packed up. We didn't even know they left.
The other glitch was that there was a misunderstanding on including a photo of the deceased in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel obituary. Picture did not get included and cost of photo was refunded.
Staff went out of their way to accommodate letting our 2 golden retrievers view my wife’s body.“

“Mowing could be done more carefully.I'll never get over seeing grave after grave in the veteran section where the bronze vases were stolen, most likely to sell for scrap metal. It's pathetic. AND the cemetery didn't even tell my family about it. Security measures would be nice.“

“Called to speak with someone about removing seasonal decorations for fall clean up and got a gentleman named Darrell who was very nice and kind with a reassuring voice. I explained to him that D/T being hospitalized after having major surgery I was unable to get out there on Friday to remove a very expensive flower basket and shepherd’s hook from my father’s gravesite that I had just placed on his birthday in September. Darrell reassured me that he understood my concerns and that he personally would go and retrieve the items for me and store them until I was able to come and get them. That meant a lot to me for him to go above and beyond his job description and made me feel relieved that my items would be safe until I can get there I purchase items that I can reuse due to the cost of having to replace them every year so I greatly appreciate him going to retrieve and store them. I’m a person that’s big on customer service and from the start of our conversation to the end from the introduction of his name to his goodbye he was very professional and empathetic Graceland just know that from my conversation in my opinion you have an exceptional employee in Darrell one that puts the customers first“

“The staff at Valhalla are excellent. The grounds are not kept up the best. I can understand the challenge of trying to keep the litter off the grounds from the surrounding neighborhood. But the gigantic potholes in the roads within the cemetery, are terrible. I don't understand why they don't repair them.“
