New to the area, so I went to yelp for help in finding a new stylist. Matthew is extremely knowledgeable on all things hair related. He took the time to meet with me prior to the processes and made me feel comfortable and had a thorough discussion about my hair journey. The cut, color and style far exceeded my expectations. I left his chair feeling like I had a new friend. I highly recommend him.

I started going to Matthew Collins about six months ago. I was terrified because I had the most challenging hair. My texture, curls [fuzziness/frizz], and thickness were all personal daily nightmares. To top it off, finding someone with the expertise and patience to deal with my hair is tricky. I always put my hair up for this reason. A friend highly recommended that I go to Matthew. After seeing Matthew, my world opened up. I would fly across the planet to have him cut my hair. I scheduled an appointment with Matt for a haircut. He reached out to me to reschedule my appointment the day of the appointment not once but twice. On the third time it was rescheduled he was not present at the salon. I called the salon several times and reached out to him and he sends me a text the next day saying “I thought I texted you saying I left early”. I am all about supporting local businesses and being kind to people and giving them chances. But wasting customers time three times in a row is extremely unprofessional and frankly really rude. I will not be going again. I recommend being very careful and not wasting your timeService: Haircut
