Our dog Josie recently reached a huge milestone. She celebrated her 15th birthday on December 6th, 2023. When Josie was one year old she went for a checkup with our local veterinarian. Our doctor detected a heart defect. After some testing we were told Josie would not live much beyond 2 years. We were devastated. My husband asked for an appointment at Iowa State University's Veterinary College of Medicine, the only college of veterinary medicine in our state. My husband attended the appointment and was given the same grim diagnosis. He pushed to have Josie evaluated one more time at another University Veterinary School. Best care we have EVER gotten for our dog. Our dog was so relaxed with the staff unlike at most vet facilities. We are so grateful for our wonderful experience there. This school came highly recommended to us and we are so happy that we decided to come. THANK YOU❤️❤️❤️

I am so impressed with everything here, from the facility, the students, the doctors and even the front desk staff. Everyone is very friendly. The oncologists and surgeon answered all of my questions and were always available to communicate. I know my dog is in the best hands here.
