Parktowne Speed Queen Laundry offers a convenient and efficient laundry experience. Customers appreciate the quick service, with many reporting that their clothes were washed and dried within an hour. The dryers are particularly noted for their effectiveness, with some loads drying in as little as 20 minutes. The facility is generally clean and accessible, located near Homewood Suites and other hotels. While there is a card payment option that includes a $15 hold, many still use quarters for other machines. Overall, the laundromat is easy to use and not overly busy during evening hours, making it a practical choice for both locals and travelers.
Used to be a good place for laundry but has gone downhill the last year or so. There are 7 dryers that are not working and yet to be repaired. You get the wash done but end up waiting for an available dryer. Sometimes the change machine is out of change, from non-customers using it.
Very clean, love the prices, $6ish for a big washer (6 loads) compare to clean laundry which is like $10.
Parktowne still .25 for 10 mins for dryers
The credit card swipe is ... i have to straight up a lot of times then it works...
The big dryers cost more yes but minimum at clean laundry is a dollar for dryer only 17 mins ..
This place is a win
I've been going here for the last ten years.
It got my stuff done pretty quick and there is an option to use cards.. however it charges a $15 hold on the card and on the dryers you just have to keep swiping because it won’t let you select the time (you get 7 mins per swipe).
