We are new to the home health care journey. Mom is in that dangerous stage - lucid at times, then confused and disoriented at others. She is not ready to live in a facility, and I really want to keep her at home as long as I can. After 5 months of being with her 24/7, I recognize that I need to take breaks. I need help. Synergy has been such a blessing. Lindsay is amazing. When she was leaving at the end of her second stay with Mom, Mom took her hand and thanked her for a wonderful day. Not only that, but Mom is looking forward to seeing her again this week. My advice to others in this situation is to not wait 5 months before you get help.
