My sister and I took boxer here. We can't thank them enough for all there help and caring words. We ended up being transferred to Oakdale and in the end she lost him. The people over there were just as caring. I definitely recommend Westgate Animal hospital.

I love this place so far. We had his first visit and I am so happy with the attention they gave Kirby! Dr Nowak is a great vet and so loving and a great listener to the owners. She provides great experience

I love this vet! They are always very honest about what's going on. We never feel rushed and they explain everything and try to talk through all the options. When we call with questions someone always gets back to us quickly with answers (even close to closing time). Our dog has a tumor/ mass and they were companionate when they had to tell us about it. They tried to explain what they would do if they were in our situation, but they also gave us all the options and let us decide what we wanted to do. Instead of pressuring us to have expensive procedures done (he is an older dog and surgery would be hard for him to recover from), they agreed with our decision to take a more conservative approach and monitor him to see if it got worse. We have him on medications so that he can be happy and comfortable while he is still with us and he doesn't have to go through a risky surgery. He has been doing great! Even when we have had to bring our dog to the emergency vet, Westgate followed up afterwards to make sure everything was okay. We have seen a lot of doctors at this vet and they are all wonderful! Dr. Meyer also met with my sister when she was having issues with her cat and he was so patient with her (as a first time pet owner). I bring my cats here, my sister brings her cat, and my parents bring our family dog/cat here. We love them!
