They're very friendly and take good care of my animals and have good communication. One time when bringing my pup into the vet they were traffic controlling the pups in the area for an aggressive dog and they kept not only the aggressive pup a comfortable distance from other dogs but communicated to me and other pet owners what was going on.

Ive brought my dogs here my whole life. We always had great veterans. The Dr's Re amazing! My dog has been a challenge with her tail issues but they have put there heart and soul into her! They treat your dog like it was there own.

Pet eye exam my pet was misdiagnosed which has led to terrible consequences. And the victim blaming was ridiculous. I brought my cat in with a bloody I there was no sign of trauma. They looked into her eyes and gave her eye drops. When I went back after her bloodyeye returned ,they told me I was supposed to have brought her back for a checkup which was not true they never told me to do that. But they put it in their notes. My cat had high blood pressure which led to her being blind now. A veterinarian should know if a cat comes in with a bloody eye and there is no sign of trauma you should check their blood pressure that's what I found out at the other vet. I would stay away from this place. As they also missed the tumor in my other cats mouth. Which led to me having to have her euthanized. I would not recommend them.

I had my dog, Ashley, in today and saw Dr Emily. She has recently joined the group and am so happy for her excellent care and compassion she showed my dog today!! She was very thorough and made Ashley feel as relaxed as she could!! Very happy with my visit and very grateful for Dr Emily!!! She’s an excellent addition to the clinic! 💗🐾💗

When I noticed my beloved 14 year old cat not being his usual cuddly and darling self and barely eating, I knew something was terribly wrong. I took him to Westgate Animal Hospital for an exam and prognosis. As soon as I checked in I started crying and the staff was immediately kind and understanding.
The Doctor performed an exam and gave me thorough diagnostic and treatment options, to which I elected to request a simple blood/kidney screen to confirm that he was ready to leave us. Once the results were in, the Doctor agreed with me that it was time to say goodbye today to end my cat's suffering.
The whole procedure and soft goodbye was gentle, compassionate and handled so gracefully by the staff and Doctor. I truly appreciate the way my wishes were handled and I was given the space to grieve my sweet kitty with dignity. This is something all pet owners eventually go through and I'm glad I chose Westgate Animal Hospital to give my cat a kind and humane crossing over the rainbow bridge. Rest in Peace Benito

Dr. Vollendorf is the best Vet I have known. He cares. He takes his time to be thorough and explain diagnoses and treatment. If you are looking for a new vet, look no further.
