    We had our daughter evaluated for every learning disability and developmental delay possible as she was becoming overwhelmed and anxious at school by the time she got to 2nd grade. We were ready to give up! We even got her eyes checked by an opthomologist and they found no issues. They staff at the vision therapy center were able to test for things that a regular eye doctor couldn’t and they discovered my daughter’s eyes were not working together correctly and everything was blurry.     My VERTIGO JOURNEY – For years I battled vertigo – a feeling of dizziness and nausea exacerbated by movement and light changes. I couldn’t use escalators, hated elevators, avoided boats, buses and trains, had to sit in the front seat of a car, and had to wear acupressure bands and take medication to be able to travel in a plane. I saw numerous healthcare providers (who offered a variety of diagnoses), had hours of physical therapy, and by the summer of 2024 I was frequently in a recliner because I was too dizzy to function.
