Tin Dog Records is a welcoming and inviting record store with a rich history. The current owner, who has taken over from the previous owner, Richie, has maintained a warm and trusting atmosphere. The store boasts a diverse selection of new and used LPs, DVDs, and other music-related items, with a strong focus on 60's and 70's records. The condition of the records is generally good, and prices are competitive. The owners are knowledgeable and happy to chat with customers, and the store also features additional merchandise such as t-shirts and record players.

Years back, when the previous owner had been a gentleman by the name of Richie. we had actually stocked up the shelves of the slightly larger location that was front facing with our pomades. It was definitely a very welcoming atmosphere and we were proud to have been part of the place. I had decided to check back in years later to see if they by chance rembered us or if the old stock was around but unfortunately the place was in its second owner since and the stock was all but lost. Now this could have been disheartening and all that could have been said was "we don't know who you are and whatever was here is gone" but that wasn't the case. I don't post reviews often, but I stopped in at Tin Dog Records on a quick work break, and what a fun shop! Prices were right and they had a cool selection of new and used LPs (+ DVDs and other cool stuff!). The owner was welcoming (great chat, Jeff!) and I enjoyed my visit! I'll definitely be back.

This place exemplifies the continued allure of brick and mortar record stores. We stopped in on a rainy Sunday afternoon and had an engaging conversation with the two owners. The selection is strongest from the 60's and 70's and bins are all well organized. The condition of the records is generally good and prices are competitive. They will put on anything you are considering buying. There is some other merch including tshirts and record players. Two tips: 1. You can't find the entrance from the street address, go around to the parking lot side to see their sign; and 2. Pet their friendly dog.
