“We recently had Prairie Electric install a 26kw Kohler whole-home generator at our home on the Long Beach peninsula of Washington. The various quotes received were very close if not identical in terms of scope of work and number of load controllers on various circuits, however Prairie's quote was the least expensive. The electricians arrived on time and did a fantastic and very neat/clean job on the install, that was anything but easy given the location chosen for the generator. We have two 200 amp sub panels and an additional panel in the ADU which all required load controllers on certain circuits, and the install of the new boxes for the load controllers was done neatly and flush to the wall. The electricians even used a laser-level to ensure the new 70'+ cable runs form the ATS to the generator were level and with excellent attention to detail. They went over and above to make sure we were happy with the installation, including a couple of "niceties" that weren't part of the quote but mad the install around the ATS's where we had our irrigation controller much cleaner/functional. We highly recommend them!“
