John is always so helpful and informative, he explains the issues, and provides great instruction to learn how to take care of your HVAC.

We used Vanport for a 5 year / 3 year maintenance on our business fire sprinkler system.  The work was done on time and within budget.  Given their competitive pricing I was surprised by their superior level of work, timeliness and professional nature.  It can be difficult trusting a company with such an important part of your business, but given their fabulous work I will have no trouble contacting them for service in the future.  Also, a special shoutout to Sean at Vanport.  He went above and beyond to help resolve issues on the county's end when the county system was having technical troubles.

We used Vanport Mechanical for the City of Ridgefield's mandatory annual backflow testing for two years in a row. We chose Vanport because of its high Google ratings and reviews. In 2025, our report was not sent to the CofR, and I received a letter from the City requesting it. I assumed it was sent after I received the report and bill, which I paid the same day. I called Vanport to confirm and they said that someone in their office had left the company and never submitted the report to the city. I had to call Vanport again a few weeks later because the report was never submitted. I keep detailed call logs for reference.
When the 2026 backflow was due, I contacted Vanport to give them another chance to redeem themselves. It happened again! I received the report, paid the bill, and got another letter from the city requesting my report. I called Vanport, and they gave me the same excuse they did in 2025! I'm very disappointed that I had to experience this twice in a row. I will not be using Vanport in the future because I shouldn't have to call the company to ensure a mandatory report is properly submitted to the city.

Vanport is my go-to when I have issues with my old heater. They are always available either the same day or within a couple of days. The techs are polite and knowledgeable, always explaining what the issue is and answering my questions.

Van port is great. Jon was out to inspect our broken split unit and was very thorough, detailed, and honest! Told us exactly what the issue was and what would be needed to fix it. Very courteous and nice.

Woke to a 63 degree house this morning! Called Vanport Mechanical & Fire Sprinkler Inc. Jon Jefferies arrived about 10 am and got us up warm again. This is a nice company to work with from the purchase of this heat pump system to yearly maintenance. They are very accommodating Jon you can’t retire!

Jon at Vanport has been a lifesaver on several times when our furnace or air conditioning has not been working, He even came out once in a terrible snowstorm. He knows all units and is very efficient in getting the job done. We don’t know what we would do without him.
