Got my prescription wrong two times. I finally went to my Kaiser optometrist for my correct prescription. They bent my first pair of glasses on the sides to fix the bifocal range, but it looks horrible and it’s even sharp on the sides. The second pair arrived damaged and I had to wait for a new pair. It took me close to SIX MONTHS before I finally had both pairs of glasses in hand because it takes FOREVER to get your glasses if you need anything special for the lenses. And now after going to Kaiser because my eyesight was still blurry, I have the right prescription and have to pay for a new pair of glasses. Am I going to Stanton Optical? No! the people are nice but the company has the worst service I've ever gotten at an eyeglass retailer. They screwed up the first pair and after waiting almost 2 weeks for 'next day' glasses, and now I'm waiting 2 weeks more for replacement lenses after being promised it would be much less. Their customer call center is as useless as a screen door on a submarine.
I would have been better off going back to America's Best.
Relatively reasonable eye exam fees but my high prescription glasses were extraordinarily expensive. Even after supplying my own frame. The glasses delivery time frame kept slipping as well. From a two week turnaround, now up to a month and counting.The eye exam process was fast, rather like an assembly line. All exam work is done by technicians. Never saw the opthamologist whose name is associated with the office. They were also unable to order any contact lense brand that wasn't on their list of options.This visit didn't work out very well for me. I won't be returning.
