I have hired R & R Flores Plumbing in the past and they did a wonderful job to repair my toilet this time. First, Rich is concerned about the customer's satisfaction and he proved it on this job too. He determined my flushing mechanism needed to be replaced and he did it quickly. Sadly, that part wasn't properly working, so he honored my request for replacing it with the exact same device that originally came with my toilet that he originally first installed years ago. Problem solved to my satisfaction. He is a courteous, conscientious and quick worker who truly cares about his work and his customer's satisfaction. I very highly recommend Rich Flores for your plumbing needs.Service: Toilet repair

I called R & R Flores Plumbing among others to request for quotes for replacing a kitchen sink. Rich and I scheduled May 1st, for a complimentary inspection for him to give me a quote. He quoted me $345 and said that "the soonest he may be available was maybe Friday." I replied that I was not in a rush and that I was still waiting for other bids and quotes. He said that was no problem and just give him a call when I'm ready or if I decide not to move forward with using him.On May 4, after dropping off my kids at their schools, I came home to a van branded with Emerald Plumbing blocking my driveway/garage, a strange man talking on the phone in my kitchen, and pipe pieces lying on the counter and floor. He deliberately ignored me to keep talking on his phone. When he finally got off, he said he was Scott from Emerald Plumbing and that Rich had sent him because Rich got another job in Portland.I told him that I didn't have an appointment set with Rich.Me: "I was not informed of that and we never scheduled. He only told me that he 'maybe' have Friday available. I believe there's some kind of mistake. I see that you've already taken some pipes out. How would you like to handle this? I'm sure you're a great plumber but I am expecting someone else to come take a look this afternoon, just as I told Rich that I'm still waiting for more bids/quotes. I'm not sure how this error happened but I'd like to be respectful to you and handle this as respectfully as possible."Scott: "Your husband accepted it."Me: "Oh. Um...no, he's my ex. He's only over to visit the kids before his week-long trip. This is my house. You're saying he agreed to have you work on the sink?"Scott: "Yeah! Took my card and everything."My ex was on an important call so I wasn't able to clarify with him, so Scott proceeded. I later found out that my ex never accepted.Scott didn't have all the necessary equipment and needed to borrow my vacuum. He said the new sink was bigger so he had to cut my counter to make things fit.As he mangled with the vacuum, I scrambled to put away as much stuff as possible that was on the counter. It didn't look like he was going to put up any plastic drapes and sure enough, he didn't. He held the tube end of the vacuum next to his compact circular saw and sawed away. Clouds of dust puffed up. After maybe 2 or 3 minutes, he yelled over his saw about the vacuum not working. He said I should know how to fix my vacuum since I am the vacuum owner. My ex eventually came down and asked why the vacuum was in our driveway. He went over to look and found paper towel clogging the vacuum, which Scott later admitted that he "may have" vacuumed in the paper towel. It took most of the day and I had to eventually take the day off. All the while he required that both my ex and I help out when he was the professional (one that wasn't even hired except due to a misunderstanding and him lying about us accepting the job). Throughout the experience he was condescending and insulting in the way he spoke with both of us. After he left almost 8 hours later, I spent the rest of the day and the next morning cleaning and mopping all the dust and debris. On May 6, I called R & R Flores to tell them what happened. Rich didn't pick up so I left a voicemail. Shortly after, I got a voicemail from Scott saying Rich mentioned I called, to call him (Scott) back instead. Not only did Rich give out my home address and info without my permission to a stranger when we didn't have a firm appointment scheduled, he ended up giving this guy my phone number, too.On May 7, I called Rich again and was finally able to get through. I explained what happened, how my privacy was violated, how I was disrespected, my home was a mess, and requested Rich to compensate for the way things were mishandled. He asked what I wanted and I wasn't sure so I told him I'd follow up. I left a message asking him to compensate for

I had R&R do the rough in plumbing on a remodel job. He did an excellent job, we are very pleased with his work. Prior to doing any work he walked me through the plumbing layout and answered all my questions. He then worked with me over the next couple days to get the project completed on time, and he was there for the city inspection and ensured that it passed first time around. Highly recommended, awesome guy!

TL;DR - bait and switch I called R & R Flores Plumbing among others to request for quotes for replacing a kitchen sink. Rich called me back and we scheduled May 1st, for a complimentary inspection for him to give me a quote. On May 4th, after dropping off my kids at their schools, I came home to a van branded with Emerald Plumbing blocking my driveway/garage, a strange man talking on the phone in my kitchen, and pipe pieces lying on the counter and floor. "Excuse me," I said. The man swiftly turned toward me then held up his index finger then turned away to continue his conversation. When he finally said bye to the person on the other end of the line, he kept his gaze fixed on his phone. I inquired again. "Excuse me. I was not expecting anyone and I don't think we've ever met or spoken." "I'm Scott from Emerald Plumbing. I'm here to work on your sink," he bellowed. Puzzled. I responded "I never spoke with anyone from Emerald Plumbing... I'm quite sure of it. Is there a mistake?" Scott: "Rich sent me." Me: "Rich? Rich...who?" Scott: "Rich from R & R Flores." Me: "Oh yes, I spoke with R & R on Tuesday for a quote but we never scheduled." Scott: "Rich sent me because he got some other job in Portland." What?! Me: "I was not informed of that and we never scheduled. My ex happened to be on an important call so I wasn't able to clarify with him. Found out later he never accepted. Me: "Um...okay... I guess go ahead then." As he worked on swapping out the sink, he didn't have all the necessary equipment and needed to borrow my vacuum. He said the new sink was bigger so he had to cut my counter to make things fit as well. As he mangled with the vacuum, I scrambled to put away as much stuff as possible that was on the counter. After maybe 2 or 3 minutes, he yelled over his saw about the vacuum not working. He was extremely rude and expected me to fix my vacuum saying a vacuum owner should know how to fix their vacuum which was working fine until he used it. My ex eventually came down and asked why the vacuum was in our driveway. He went over to look and found paper towel in there clogging the vacuum. I didn't appreciate being talked down on and even more so blaming my vacuum when he clearly shouldn't have vacuumed paper towel! Long story short, it took most of the day and I had to eventually take the day off when it should have been a quick job. All the while he required that both my ex and I help out when he was the professional (one that wasn't even hired except due to a misunderstanding and him lying about us accepting the job). And t

I recently had to call R and R Flores for an emergency leak. The PUD had shut off my water so I needed help fast on a Friday evening. R and R responded to my call quickly and went above and beyond to make sure I had water as quickly as possible. Their prices are reasonable and service is fast and professional. I definitely recommend R and R Flores.

Arranged to have R&R Flores Plumbing come out to unclog a clog laundry room down pipe, but for a variety of reasons were not able to do the work. Gave me a recommendation for another, larger firm with bigger equipment. Very personable and helpful. Will call again.
