Mountain View EyeCare Center is a family-owned, locally operated eye practice that has been serving the Vancouver community since 1989. The practice provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, from 6 months to 99+ years old, including healthy eyes, difficult-to-fit contact lenses, emergency eye care, and low vision eye care. The practice has undergone a transition over the years, with Dr. J starting the small, one-exam room practice in 1989. In 2016, Dr. Nick, Dr. J's son, took over the practice and was joined by his wife, Dr. Soper, in 2017. In late 2023, Dr. K joined the team to expand the practice's pediatric care, myopia prevention, and comprehensive eye care services. The doctor and all staff were very kind and helpful. They answered all my questions thoughtfully and with care. I would recommend them over everyone else. I have been to a few and they were not as caring and exact and helpful and kind and not hurried as others. I personally thank them.
My first experience at Mt. View EyeCare was excellent, front desk staff were kind, tech was friendly and professional, Dr. Soper was efficient and knowledgeable. Not pushy about purchasing eyewear. I will certainly be back in the future. Would recommend to others.
You’re never quite sure when you go to a new provider for the first time, but seeing Dr. Nick was not only reassuring but also comfortable, not to mention thorough. He took his time and explored solutions, and had a never-give-up attitude.
