Mountain View EyeCare Center is a family-owned, locally operated eye practice that has been serving the Vancouver community since 1989. The practice provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, from 6 months to 99+ years old, including healthy eyes, difficult-to-fit contact lenses, emergency eye care, and low vision eye care. The practice has undergone a transition over the years, with Dr. J starting the small, one-exam room practice in 1989. In 2016, Dr. Nick, Dr. J's son, took over the practice and was joined by his wife, Dr. Soper, in 2017. In late 2023, Dr. K joined the team to expand the practice's pediatric care, myopia prevention, and comprehensive eye care services. Patients have praised the knowledgeable and friendly doctors and staff, the great selection of frames, and the amazing up-to-date technology used for the best eye care possible. Dr. Nick and his staff are amazing. They really care about their patients and are very patient and proffisional. I drive from the Tri-Cities, (Kennewick) just to see him, because I trust him with my eye sight. I have major eye problems and he is always making sure I leave his office knowing that I received quality care. I am so lucky!

Everyone is great.
Dr J has been key to my vision journey. He has skills and equipment most reg eye drs do not. He was able to diagnose 2 very rare conditions that I most likely lived with my whole life up to age 50 that no other eye noticed. All confirmed with genetic testing and 2nd opinions. I hope more people get tested when they discover they are having strange symptoms like blind spots and/or bright light flashes. If you have had several close calls with traffic or pedestrians... please get your eyes checked. It can be something bigger. Great job MtView Eye Care!
