My experience is only pertaining to the cemetery grounds itself. Tonight I called into EMG to see if dogs were allowed to walk in the cemetery, I spoke to a gal named Dee (who was absolutely lovely btw!) and she said yes of course they are allowed! I was very excited and with this cemetery only being a 12 min drive from me, my doggo and I hopped in the car and headed over that way. There is just something so serene and beautiful about this cemetery. The grounds are immaculate and well kept, there’s garbages everywhere so it’s convenient to put doggy bags where they need to go. The staff was caring and kind during a difficult time. Having everything pre-paid made the process easier. There were some glitches when picking up the cremains and the prayer cards so the only suggestion would be for them to slow down. Other than that everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Evergreen.
During my bereavement I was faced with many emotional and logistical hurdles. My family was obviously devastated with the loss we experienced. I needed trust with the funeral home. I needed to know that the grief my family and I were experiencing would be given dignity, kindness and respect through the mourning process.
