Deluna Dental is so friendly to children with special needs. My son is seven years old and has severe autism with no language. The previous visit to the dentist was a nightmare for me 😂. This time, we came here for a tooth extraction and cavity treatment, and all the staff were very friendly and efficient. Especially the dental assistant, Skyla, her patience and friendliness miraculously prevented my son from strongly resisting, even though a few minutes of examination would have been agonizing for him 🤣. If I could give this place a million stars, I would. I was worried about a cavity in my 3 year old's mouth. Took her somewhere else (I won't name where but you can see in my review history if you're curious) and was told she would need a crown on every molar plus a possible extraction, plus more done to her front teeth if X-rays showed, but they weren't willing to do X-rays until after she was put under general anesthesia. Well I didn't like that so I made a follow up appointment here with Dr. DeLuna. They took they X-rays of my daughter's mouth in about 5 minutes and it turns out there were NO CAVITIES aside from the one I was originally worried about. Dr. DeLuna also...read full review
I called Deluna Kids Dental on behalf of a client who had a teen with an abscessed tooth. Even though the teen was too old to be seen by the clinic (they serve children 11 and under), the WONDERFUL KIND AMAZING RAY OF SUNSHINE who answered the phone recommended another place we could call to get care. We were able to schedule with the other place same day. I will recommend that anyone looking for a dentist for 11 and under go here solely based on the level of care we received from the reception staff. Thank you so much for your help.
