I have worked with Neil Beck in planning my own funeral. All arrangements have been pre-paid. It was easy to work with Neil and I feel confident that I got the best possible plan for myself. On Tuesday, we laid my nephew to rest in a beautiful and honorable ceremony, complete with Air Force Honor Guards. However, what should have been a moment of solemn reflection was marred by an extremely disappointing experience. As we were helping my sister into the car during the most heartbreaking moment of her life, the funeral director, Russ, and his staff were laughing and joking at the gravesite. It was deeply disrespectful and insensitive to our family’s pain. Adding to this insensitivity, they refused to allow my sister a private moment before lowering the casket and began backing in the tractor before we could even make it to the car. What I witnessed was a group of individuals who seemed completely desensitized, treating their role as just a job without any compassion for the grieving families they are supposed to serve. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. I will never use Mt. View again. This company lacks both professionalism and humanity.
They do an awesome job!! They listen to the family's needs and wants. They are very professional. They showed importance to every detail. Thank you Katrina you were a wonderful light in the darkness of our sorrow.
