I showed a picture I described what size I want and did not get that. I came for my 10am to hear that whoever was supposed to get started was not there and wasn't coming because of when I got there, which made no sense because I sent a follow up letting them know I was on my way. We had just booked the appointment the day before so she pretty much flaked I guess. I was told to arrive later at 2pm with no discount and still waited to get started. Three ladies worked on my hair, not at the same time which is fine. 2/3 had bad breath unfortunately which is hard to deal with when you are so close. Only one of them had noticeably been washing her hands between clients. The last one doing my hair was eating the entire time with her hands. Never wiped, used sanitizer, washed nothing, just literally put her hands back into my head immediately after like my head is a wet wipe. Then she's chewing over me with stank breath. I was so overstimulated to day the least. The reason they gave for not giving me medium twists made no sense at all for professionals, for African braiders especially. The style was nice but due to hygiene and not knowing what she was eating, I went and bought a hair and scalp sanitizer and will be washing soon. I wish I demanded a discount or spoke up sooner but I was a bit in shock. If you must come here I think its best to request Fatima as the stylist only. And don't be like me, speak if you see something you know is against standard. $200

Lazy work, no wonder u only accept cash. Not to mention whole back row slipped out 4 days later. And don’t go here thinking u will be done fast. There’s only 1 braider to a head not 2-3 ppl on ur head like a traditional African shop! I was there for 10 hours and she stopped multiple times to tend to her baby. Not worth $350 at all

I do not recommend this place.
One of the stylists who braided my hair was very rough with her movements she hit my face, leaving a scratch that was painful afterward. I was very clear that I did not want a lot of weave added and specifically asked for lightweight braids. I’m not sure if there was a language barrier because despite this my hair was extremely bulky and heavy, and I couldn’t even put it into a bun.
I messaged with the owner, who offered for me to come back the next day to have it fixed. When I returned, the stylist who was redoing my hair had a noticeable attitude and complained that it would take too long. She spoke to others in her language but did not communicate with me directly. While the owner remained professional, she asked for me to come back however, I do not intend to return a third time to get the service corrected.
Overall, the lack of communication, rough handling, and unprofessional attitude during the redo made this a disappointing experience.

Did long box braids and curled the ends for my daughter. She is very happy with them. Very good price for the value! We made a 3:30 appointment and they had 3 braiders working on her hair. Definitely worth it. We will only get braids done at Fatima's!

Worst experience ever asked for straight back cornrows to put jumbo box braids she braided my hair so tight it's hurt ripped out balls of my natural hair while braiding an she braided the back on a spiral couldn't even put in all my braids cuz it hurt to bad to pull them through

This is this is a review I went to Fatima's hair braiding yesterday spoke with Aisha told her I wanted my hair done in two parts because I was busy working whatever she told me yes she can do that they work they braid on Saturday and Sunday okay I'm texting I'll come tomorrow appointment and she act like she know we had a conversation before so apparently she didn't understand me but she just nodded in agreement to say that yes we would do that so I get there the way out you know discuss with her previously so I don't know if the command of the language it's a barrier but they all stuck together looking at me as if I was totally out of place the communication was totally off the hair braiding salons are not professional Fatima she didn't handle that professionally okay guys we got to stop spending our money with these people cuz they need to act better than that the etiquette is off it really is you can't communicate with these people they look at you like they crazy

Fatima’s did an amazing job I got single braids but my hair is really fine so I was worried it came out perfect !!! Not to mention how her shop has grown . We started on time and I was more than pleased now that I’m back to braids it’ll be Fatima every time the prices were more than fair !!
